Jesus saved me from many things too numerous to mention but one of the big things was the curse of mental illness, I suffered from age 16 to 30 practically sentenced to a life on medication, pyschosis, and spells of craziness or manic depression. Satan had done a number on me and tried his hardest to get me to go his way, I didn't grow up in a christian family either so had no idea what was going on at the time and all I knew was I needed Jesus to save me but I just didn't know what it meant to follow Him. I didn't know who God was or if He even loved me but it's amazing when God did show me he was real and one of the ways He did was in a vision and through the Bible His words speaking to me, He also delivered me from the demon of terror and being neglected/cursed as a child, idolatry and all other STUFF!! And for those reading this several of the saints who witnessed to me were online, so it doesn't matter where you are there are people willing to pray for you and care about your soul and spend the time explaining the gospel so that you can know Jesus and salvation.
So after repenting and being baptised and learning His ways He is with me everyday, I even taught Bible to children something I never thought could do, and other ministries He gives me, but the biggest thing He prepared me to is learning how to care for creation via gardening which is really what I love to do. I used to be a librarian and thought that was the path for me but God lead me in a different direction, although am still involved with church libraries God has showed me much more. I love learning His ways and His Word is precious to me. He is great and wonderful God. You don't know how amazing it is to be free and not suffer demons and depression or threat of it anymore. I can get up in the morning each day joyfully looking forward to a new day that God has given, and to know He is working in my life and through me it's just the best thing.
Another thing He's taught me is learning to stand against bullies and satans' wiles and has given me a lot of discernment in these areas, I am glad that, when I am weak He is strong and moreover I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Also with lots of prayer support from my christian brothers and sisters too I've made a lot of friendships that I know are going to last for eternity. Am with a local church family too and that has been a blessing...for those who never grew up in church like me church isn't a chore/duty it's a special time to gather and worship and celebrate.
So thank you Lord for bringing me into your family and everything you've done.
