My experience of male preachers is they are all Biblically illiterate
So? Your opinion. You're no authority and your experience doesn't define the majority.
The requirements for a pastor/leader of a true Christian church are clear.
If you're a woman you are NOT it.
Anyone who listens to and follows ANY female "pastor" is an ignorant fool.
1. **Above Reproach:**
- _1 Timothy 3:2_: "Now the overseer is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach."
- _Titus 1:6_: "An elder must be blameless, faithful to
his wife, a
man whose children believe and are not open to the charge of being wild and disobedient."
2. **
Husband of One Wife:**
- _1 Timothy 3:2_: "Faithful to
his wife."
- _Titus 1:6_: "Faithful to
his wife."
3. **
Temperate, Self-Controlled, and Respectable:**
- _1 Timothy 3:2_: "Temperate, self-controlled, respectable."
- _Titus 1:8_: "Rather,
he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined."
4. **Hospitable:**
- _1 Timothy 3:2_: "Hospitable."
- _Titus 1:8_: "
He must be hospitable, one who loves what is good."
5. **Able to Teach:**
- _1 Timothy 3:2_: "Able to teach."
6. **Not Given to Drunkenness:**
- _1 Timothy 3:3_: "Not given to drunkenness."
- _Titus 1:7_: "Since an overseer manages God's household,
he must be blameless—not overbearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain."
7. **Not Violent But Gentle:**
- _1 Timothy 3:3_: "Not violent but gentle."
8. **Not Quarrelsome:**
- _1 Timothy 3:3_: "Not quarrelsome."
9. **Not a Lover of Money:**
- _1 Timothy 3:3_: "Not a lover of money."
10. **
Manages His Own Family Well:**
- _1 Timothy 3:4-5_: "
He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full respect. (If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God's church?)"
11. **Not a Recent Convert:**
- _1 Timothy 3:6_: "
He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same judgment as the devil."
12. **Good Reputation with Outsiders:**
- _1 Timothy 3:7_: "
He must also have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into disgrace and into the devil's trap."
These verses outline the character and conduct expected of someone in the role of a pastor. They emphasize integrity, humility, and a strong moral compass.
