A Christian pop-up nightclub in Nashville plays Jesus rap and forbids twerking, drinking, and smoking. 3-2-24

Dear Brother, @MedicBravo
There is a brother in Christ at my church who is handicapped (Special Olympics) and was in a secular home. Rap was the music of choice in his house and being almost totally blind and dependent on those in his house, that is what he heard mostly. Except in church or when being picked up by other brothers in the church. Anyway, I decided to make two CD's of Christian Rap music. I tried to listen to it, to determine it's appropriateness, but only got through 2 songs become it became too much for me to handle! lol

I still remember part of one lyric that went like "we gonna bomb the devil...yadda yadda yadda". Anyway, he appreciated it, though I have no idea how the rest of the household dealt with it!

We go to the highways, and byways to reach them, and as Paul said, he tried to be all things, that some might be saved.

Thanks for sharing!

A very high majority of Rap is evil, violent, thug trash.
I'd say at least 98% is evil and b/c of what most of the world "loves" it will get more exposure than Christian rap.

In my younger Christian days, being a blues and 60s rock guitarist, I would change the words to secular songs and play them in church. Like Clapton’s Cocaine,I changed to,God’s Word.
A couple of words in,Sunshine of your Love, and had a hit.
But not anymore
