A Day of Distress

Sunday, September 27, 2015, 12:00 noon – The Lord Jesus put in mind the song “Only In Him.” Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Isaiah 37:1-4 (NASB).

And when King Hezekiah heard it, he tore his clothes, covered himself with sackcloth and entered the house of the Lord. Then he sent Eliakim who was over the household with Shebna the scribe and the elders of the priests, covered with sackcloth, to Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz. They said to him, “Thus says Hezekiah, ‘This day is a day of distress, rebuke and rejection; for children have come to birth, and there is no strength to deliver. Perhaps the Lord your God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom his master the king of Assyria has sent to reproach the living God, and will rebuke the words which the Lord your God has heard. Therefore, offer a prayer for the remnant that is left.’”

The king of Assyria attacked all the fortified cities of Judah and captured them. Then, he sent his field commander to King Hezekiah at Jerusalem. Hezekiah sent his servants to meet the field commander. The commander spoke to these men on behalf of the king of Assyria. He then attempted to persuade King Hezekiah’s people to not put their trust in his words but to make a bargain with King Sennacherib, like Satan trying to get us to doubt the words of the Lord and to listen to him, instead. As well, he pretended as though he was the Lord’s servant and that he was hearing from God and that he was following God in what he did. If the people would reject the word of the Lord, and would come out to him and make peace with him, then everyone of them could eat from his own vine and drink from his own cistern, rather than put their trust in the Lord to deliver them (See: chap. 36).

In our world today, in the year 2015, the king of Assyria is the New World Order. There are two primary voices speaking on behalf of this New World Order right now in trying to persuade sovereign nations and the church to make a treaty with the N.W.O. (with Satan), and they are Pope Francis and Barack Obama. The Pope just completed a 6 day visit to the USA at which time he gave a similar speech as this one given by the field commander, primarily addressing the church, yet speaking to all people and to the US government (Congress) and to world leaders (the UN). Obama gives a very similar message.

Tolerance and Acceptance

The Pope’s primary message to governments, to the church and to the people of the world, which he forcefully pushes, is that the “freedom of God” is expressed in tolerance and acceptance of all religions and all walks of life, and is less concerned with “doctrinal purity.” He sees the church and/or the people of the world as living in a “common house,” which can no longer tolerate unfruitful divisions produced by differences of beliefs. In fact, he sees exclusion (from the family of God) of people unlike us in faith and practice as wrong and as a “perversion of the faith.” He said that the church must live in this “concrete world.” Concrete means: “formed by a coalescence of separate particles into a mass; united in a coagulated, condensed or solid mass” (dictionary.com). In other words, the church must live in this New World Order (one-world tyrannical government and one-world religion).

The pope would have you believe that Jesus does not care about where we’ve been or what we have done. In some sense, this is true, in that we are not saved by our own righteousness, and it was while we were yet sinners that Jesus died for us, and that it is only by God’s grace, through faith in Jesus Christ, that we can be saved. As well, our past does not have to define our future. We can be cleansed by the blood of Jesus, and we can be made righteous in God’s sight through faith in Jesus Christ. Yet, Jesus cares very much about sin, which is why he died for us, that we might be free from slavery to sin, and so we might be free to become slaves (servants) of righteousness. Jesus’ cleansing of us is not tolerance and acceptance of sin, and just making people feel good about themselves, regardless of their beliefs or their walks of life. He said if we would come after him we must deny self, take up our cross daily (die daily to sin and self) and follow (obey) him. He said that his sheep know his voice, they listen to him, and they follow (obey) him.

The “scandal” the pope seems most concerned about is not that for generations Catholic priests and bishops have been molesting innocent children, but what he considers to be the wrong of following the gospel of Jesus Christ as taught by Jesus and his NT apostles in which he/they preached repentance for salvation and forgiveness of sin, death to sin and living to righteousness, and that faith in Jesus Christ is the only way to God and heaven. He continually preaches against such narrow-mindedness (in his sight) and the holding to the doctrines of the faith over tolerance (acceptance) of other faiths and other walks of life. His job (and Obama’s) is to try to persuade, by force, the church and the governments of the people of the world to unite with this New World Order and one-world government and religion. In America, Rick Warren (N.W.O.) has helped pave the way for this, too.

Need for Discernment

Much of today’s church seems to embrace the pope’s message, as does the US government, which has opened the door wide to invite the New World Order into our nation and into the church in our nation in order to take us over and to put to death the old order of things so that out of the ashes of the old order the phoenix (new order) can rise. Yet, we need to be discerning about these matters, and we need to recognize the lies, the deceptions, the twisting of truth, and the manipulations and forcefulness of this message which comes from the N.W.O. “Beast.” And, we, as the church, need to be putting on sackcloth and ashes and mourning over these words being spoken by the pope and by Obama, and have our eyes opened to the reality of what this means for us as the church, and as independent and free nations, which I believe no longer exists in America. And, we need to call on God in prayer.

We need to see the pope’s words and the words of Obama as coming from the mouth of Satan and this “beast” (Rev. 13) New World Order, and we need to reject the messages. We need to know the true light of the gospel of Jesus Christ so that we can discern the fake (artificial) light coming from the mouths of these two messengers, and others like them. This is about the defeat of independent nations and the destruction of the church and the gospel of Jesus Christ. The pope’s feel-good messages are not what the Bible teaches, and they are in direct opposition to scripture and to God. These men are predators, not our friends. The “light” they share is of Lucifer. We need to know the truth of God’s word so that we can discern their true character and influence for what it is – a big fat lie of Satan, just like the words the commander spoke in behalf of the king of Assyria. Jesus said that his sheep won’t follow strangers, but they will run away from them. We need to run away.

These men are appealing to the flesh of humans in trying to convince us that they have our best interest at heart, but they are cold and callous and are thieves who come only to steal and to destroy the sheep (See: John 10). They are wolves in sheep’s clothing who have the appearance of a lamb, but who speak like a dragon. Their message is one of conformity, unity and solidarity with the “beast” N.W.O. They want all people to look and act the same, believe the same and be in conformity to the rule of the beast, with no variations. Our government in the US is subject to this beast (elite, powerful, wealthy, UN). It serves its purposes in bringing the people of the world into subjection to the beast. Our government as we have known it is a façade. Our election process is an act, and our politicians are actors in a play, for the entertainment of the people. Whether the candidate is Trump or Clinton or anyone else, they are all N.W.O. Our votes mean nothing. The controlling authority in the US is this beast. It is the controlling authority of the world, too.

ONLY IN HIM / An Original Work / February 19, 2014

Based off Isaiah 30

Woe to those who look to man’s help;
Who turn away from Jesus Christ;
Forming an alliance not in step with God;
Making their own plans, and praying not.

Willing not to listen to truth,
They close their ears to what is right.
Pleasing words are all that they’ll hear;
Feel good messages that bring cheer.

Trust in your Lord; turn from your sin.
Put your faith now ONLY IN HIM.
Do not turn to idols. They’ll not satisfy.
Jesus will save you. That’s why He died.

Your Lord will be gracious to you.
He cares all about you, ‘tis true.
He forgives you all of your sin
When you give your life up to Him.

Oh, how truly gracious He’ll be
When you bow to Him on your knees;
Turning now from your sin; walking in his ways.
He’ll lead and guide you all of your days.

Now you will sing praises to Him.
He delivered you from your sin.
You’ll tell others now of His grace,
So they may see Christ face-to-face.
