I come from a family of baptised catholics. With the exception of my Nona, no one seems as awestruck as me. Granted, I was that way approx. 12 years ago. I feel I have made great strides such as going to mass weekly without exception. My other family members go to church, not regulary or not at all except holidays. I feel like I am viewed as taking it a bit far. Thats ok, its just I want them to feel the way I do. I am praying and God has already answered my prayers for my dad. I desperately want me wife to to feel as passionate about Christ as me. I feel the same for my brother. I want salvation for all. I know, as much as I try to be a good example, many times I fall short. I know I cannot force anyone to be more involved in Christ. I need good solid advice. The next best answer after praying would be?

Hi jpat,

What you said is true that we cannot force anyone to be more involved in Christ. I really don't know what to say but after prayer, is to leave it in the Lord's hands. No matter how difficult it is.

My family wants nothing to do with the Lord. I've tried so hard to make my kids to know Jesus but failed only because I didn't trust Jesus to reveal Himself to them.

Since then there has been a lot of trials and through those times, He has commanded me to "Be still and know that He is God". So that's what I'm doing. We are the only Jesus people we'll see. So jpat, love unconditionally & shine for Jesus and let Him do the rest. God bless.

Brother what do you mean by wanting them to be "more involved in Christ"
How do you know they do not feel as passionate about Christ as you?
