In Hebrews 4:15-16 "For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."

I used to quoted these verses to other brothers'n sisters, but deep inside I still can not believe that Jesus really understand what I'm through.

He never sinned like me!And his life on earth is just one way, such as he is not a woman!
I mean he didn't EXPERIENCE Everything.
So "in all points tempted"seems hard to understand by me,except be explained as in abstract ways like the Temptations.

But logically because he is the all-knowing and ever-existing God who see through people He knows everything about humen being.

When Jesus was hanging on the cross he cried:"my God why have you forsaken me",
in Isaiah 53:6"the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all."
and in Isaiah 59:2"But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear."

Does it mean that Jesus is pure without sin,but suffered the consequences of sin which is to seperated from God?
But He still didn't sin and ever taste the bitter fruits of sinning during his life~

Since I haven't get any answer I've been avoided thinking about it but just now remember.Maybe there's someone who has the same question.

Two great questions mate.

In regards to Jesus' temptation and His experience. You are right, He did not experience everything. What it is saying here is that He was tempted in all things that humans are tempted with. So, he would have been tempted not to serve God in everything as is commanded - Matthew 4:8-9 are an example of this. He may not have been specifically tempted in the same ways as we, but He was tempted in the same sin. He would have been tempted to lust, just as men and women struggle with this temptation, even though its in different dynamics of the temptation.

In Heb 4:15 it says Jesus sympathizes with our weaknesses. The weaknesses here is speaking of the fleshly body - the greek word is συμπαθέω which speaks of bodily weaknesses. So it is saying Jesus sympathizes with the fleshly desires and struggles we have, and was tempted as we are in all things by the flesh. So Jesus was tempted to sin in all things we are tempted to. Perhaps it would be helpful to realise that this must be speaking quite generally. i.e: Jesus was not tempted to look at pornography on a computer. However, He would have been tempted to lust.

I believe He is very familiar with what you are going on, for two reasons. He is all knowing, and so knows exactly where you are in life and what your going through Psalms. 33:13–15 helps to show this. God sees every person from His dwelling place in Heaven, He also fashions the heart, and He understands their works. This means He must know our heart entirely, He must know exactly how we're feeling and what we're thinking, if He fashions our heart (our centre of being), and if He knows our works, He must know the intent with which they are done. Also look at Matt 9:4. He knows our thoughts and heart. The second reason I believe He knows exactly how your feeling and thinking, is because He has been human, He knows what it is like to live in a fleshly body, and what people struggle with. Even though He may not have experienced everything we experience, He knows everything about our experience, and knows exactly how we feel, this is part of God being all-knowing.
Not sure if that at all helps - it seems a bit all over the place, but hopefully it can help in one way or the other.

Jesus was and is pure from sin, yes. He never sinned, and so remained sinless of His own accord. The reason He was seperated from God (some people don't believe He was) is because on the cross the sins of the world were placed upon Him, they were imputed to Him, counted as His own. And so Jesus had the sins of the world, and suffered the wrath of God as a result, of which God forsaking Him was necessary, and also was death - as the penalty of sin is death -Ro 6:23. It is by Christ's death that people can be forgiven of their sins and counted as righteous before God, because Jesus took the penalty of our sin (justification). We have life as Christians, not by the death of Jesus - as His death only satisfied God's justice. But by His resurrection we have life, and live as a new creation. Ro 5:17.

But yes, Jesus never did sin, and didn't taste the bitterness of His own sin. He suffered the bitterness of the sin of the entire world instead. Remember as in the Old Testament, it was a pure lamb that had to be slaughtered as a redeeming work of the people's sin. Jesus was the perfect lamb, was was sacrificed for the sake of everyone else's sin.

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
Heb 2:14
Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
Heb 2:17
Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did. But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men, And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.
John 2:23-25

Goose Thank you for write so long to help me,I'm almost get lost in your answers, but it's me starting first:p

Thank you HisFollower for appliny these scriptures!I almost forgot them. They helped my understanding~

I know in fact maybe He did know me but can't believe in my heart all the time, especially after rejected and misunderstood by others.
I feel being alone since I can remember...no matter how popular i was or being active among people,it's hard to get out of that,it became a truth to me——I'll be alone for ever, although I know God is with me.So I run away from those painful thinking and feelings, try not to focus on myself, read the Bible, meet people and keep myself busy etc. but it doesn't work.I wish I could have scriptures help me,and maybe more prayers...
