A New Beginning in Prayer!

I start out with Prayer.Father in the name of Jesus,let thy words flow though as living waters unto those who read this,may you give them understanding and wisdom even as you have given this unto me in Jesus name amen!

Brothers and sisters in Christ! It is time to begin again in understading how we can recieve what we pray for. We know there are 3 realms in prayer asking,seeking and knocking.( Matt 7:7) As I have said before asking is never the problem for us,the problem lies in giving our Jesus but only 5 to 10 min of our time,Lord we ask you bless our family, and bless me,my friends,and all those things I need in you amen.

We do not expect to hear back,and are never surprised to much when we do not. How can we ever get to the knocking realm? When all we are content with is the asking realm. I pray for salvation of my loved ones,and in perhaps 15 to twenty years, this can come to pass,but what if you want God to answer that same prayer within 24 hours?

This depends on our depth we pray in. Hebrews 5:7 says in the days of HIS flesh, he offered up both prayers and supplications with LOUD CRYING and tears to the ONE able to save HIM from death,and he was HEARD because of his FEAR!( or piety)

psalms 62:11 says ONCE GOD has spoken;twice I have heard this:That power belongs to God; Please realize this, that not praying is a great sin! Not praying daily opens the door for the devil to have an oppertinuity in your life.(Eph 4:27)

1 Sam 12:23-24 says Moreover, as for me,FAR be it from me that I should sin against the LORD by ceasing to pray for you;but I will instruct you in the good and right way. ONLY fear the Lord and serve him in truth with all your heart;for consider what great things HE has done for YOU! to have union with our Jesus,we must commune with our Jesus.

I can only know you as much as I spend time with you. The more time I spend with you,the better I can get to know each of you.Jesus is the same.There are 3 things that blocks prayer.

1. Regarding sin,as if it did not mean anything to you,or not repenting.Psalm 66:18 says If I regard wickedness in my heart,the Lord will not hear; Without repenting brothers and sisters, we are wasting our breath in prayer!

I know this is very blunt,but there are many out there,that truly want to be close to Jesus,and the Holy Spirit would have me talk plain to you. An example of the kind of prayer that moves our Jesus is found on Acts 12:5 which says So Peter was kept in prison but prayer for him was being made fervently( meaning without end) by the Church to God.

This Church went past asking,they went past seeking,this Church my brothers and sister was knocking!! Here my brothers and sisters in Acts 11:26 the first time believers were called christians,or Christ like in Antioch. James was put to death by Herod in Acts 12:2 Peter was next, if the Church did not DO SOMETHING!!

The door to the throne room of Jesus was being knocked on! Jesus heard the knock!The second block to prayer is We do not listen to the Word! Proverbs 28:9 says He who turns away his ear from listening to the law,Even his prayer is what??? yes brothers and sisters!! it is an abomination!

Hosea 4:6 says my people ,meaning God's people are destroyed for there lack of knowledge!! lack of knowledge in God's own Word! and 3. Those who do not help the poor! Proverbs 21:13 says He who shuts his ear to the cry of the poor will also cry himself and!!!! NOT BE ANSWERED!

I remember one day as I was driving,a man by the side of the road held a small sign, which said,would you please help me,I need to feed my family! Holy Spirit said give that man $20.00 tell him this.I give you this in the name of Jesus,do not buy drugs or booze with this money but go and do what your sign says and feed your family!

This I told him,his eyes were as big as saucers! He said oh I will do this even as the Lord has commanded! Amen brother I said,blessing to you from my Jesus! And drove away. At this time we ourselves were in a rather bad way,but God sent 3 people to us to help pay our rent,and we had enough as well to even buy a full supply of food with it!

Some of you may now these people!! They came from here at Talk Jesus! God hears the knock! These 3 things do not do,for by doing so,you take yourself far away from the door to knock upon it.

When we are doing what is right, we draw Jesus to us! Song of Solomon 1:4 says DRAW me after you and let us run together. Luke 18:9-14 please read this and notice verse 14 I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather then the other;for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled,but he who humbles himself will be exalted!( BY!!! JESUS HIMSELF!!)

Now the things to do! 1. God hears the humble! 2. God hears the righteouss meaning those who are his sheep,saved by the very blood of the lamb,our Jesus! Psalms 34:17 says The righteous cry,and the Lord HEARS and!! delivers them out of there troubles!

3. those who please him 1 john 3:22-24 which says and whatever we ask we recieve from HIM,because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in HIS sight!Please read the rest of this as well. 4.Those who call upon the name of the Lord in truth!! Psalm 145:18-19 says

The LORD is near to all who call upon HIM,to ALL who call upon HIM in truth. He will fulfil the desire of those who fear HIM; He will hear there cry and will SAVE THEM!Brothers and sisters I humbly ask you to hear what the Lord has instructed me to tell all of us this day.

A branch has no life on its own,it must be connected to the tree( Christ Jesus) HIS prayer!! not ours! prayer moves the hand the moves the World! Now,being in the right place is also very inportant! Go to your closet of prayer! have no one bother you,do not take your phone in with you. make sure the kids or the dog cannot bother you for the time you take with our Lord.

( exodus 33:7-11) Worship builds atmosphere!! before we can knock,we seek,seeking is done by setting the atmosphere we need to knock! Worship in music, in hymns in song,prepare yourself to get to the door.We have to go where God is! ( exodus 33:14 says And he said My presence shall go with you,and I will give you rest. In his presence there is perfect peace.( john 14:27)

Next be in the right position. Numbers 9:15-17 verse 17 Whenever the cloud was lifted from over the tent afterwards the Sons of Isreal would then set out; and in the place where the cloud settled down,THERE!!! the Sons of Isreal would camp!

Numbers 7:89 Now when Moses went into the tent of meeting to speak with HIM,he heard his voice speaking to him from above the mercy seat that was on the ark of the testimony from between the two cherubim,so he spoke to him. UNDER the Blood,Blood covered the mercy seat,and Moses was on his face! and finally my brothers and sisters,hear is something else that truly!! amazed me!! GOD!!! is ALWAYS SPEAKING!!

Psalm 66:16 Come and hear, all who fear GOD,and I will tell of what HE has done for my soul. psalm 46:10 be still and know that I am God! Since we are friends in Christ,know this,what a friend indeed we have in Jesus!( john 11:11 This He said, and after that HE said to them OUR FRIEND Lazarus.Put you name in his place,because Jesus calls you his friend if you do as he tells us! I know this was long,but the Lord wanted me to share this with all of you,please test this!! I have!! I have found this true,and I know you will to!! Enjoy the New beginning in our Jesus with PURPOSEFUL!!!! PRAYER!!! amen!

very good! I have a hard time since reading scriptures and the bible is new to me what is exactly meant. I guess I have a hard time understanding the scriptures sometimes.

How do you know when god is knocking? I take it this is a way of him trying to tell you something. I have a hard time with "hearing" from god. I am willing to listen but I dont know when he is trying to tell me something...

I guess I am asking, how do I hear from god and know its him and not me just "thinking thoughts". I will continue to pray to god and do my best to be the best person he has set me out to be.

You ask some very good questions Nickles. How well I know you depends on how much time I spend with you.Yes? Of course! To get our ears right,we must first spend time with our Daddy!

I remember when I was starting out,something things went great believing I was hearing from Jesus,others times oops,i missed it! First know this,anything the Lord tells you, he will ALWAYS!! yes ALWAYS!! back himself up in His very Word.

Then we act on what we believe.( hebrews 11:6 God honors all faith! and remember we only have to have a musterd seed of it as well! We learn like in all life bro, by doing what we believe is true for us. We cannot speak for others. Start by reading the Book of Romans,and spend some time in prayer as well,find a good bible based church and share,and allow them to share with you.love bears love.judgment bears judgment.

That which we need,we give,so that we may recive.That is the law of Love in Christ! As one old preacher once said,spend your time doing to dos,because by doing this,you won't have time to do the don'ts, and if you could ,you wouldn't, so you can't, so you won't!! LOL

The very core to peace within and without is love, which is the wheel for us in Christ. think of yourself as a branch from a tree,the tree is Jesus,we know that our branch will die apart from the tree,so we work hard,on doing our best, as part of his tree,sometimes you notice another branch has been chipped or cut,as part of the tree,you look to help that branch,to mend,to become repaired ,this is done by love,not by judgment.

That which you wish, give to others,talk to others as you yourself want to be talked to.not in judgment but rather in love ,with mercy and grace! Do this!! and your branch shall live,do it not,and your branch will die and be burned up. The is the law of the Spirit world in Christ.

His word sets us apart,because unlike the world with its fear,our World is shaped by staying in Christ,and following his teaching,and love. Many people talk of having different kinds of ministrys,I have a healing ministry,I have this, I have that. What the Spirit of God gives, comes from him,our ministrys each and everyone of us,comes from first being reconciled to Jesus first!! THEN!! teaching others to do the same,for if we have not done this,how can we teach another??( 2 Cor 5:17-21) We judge not,because we are not the judge,we condemn not because we do not wish for ourselves to be condemned. Our Job,to reconcile ourselves to our Lord,and to build others up to do the same!That my brother is everyones ministry in Jesus!

I've just been rereading what you have written - thank you for sharing what the Lord has shown you ...

When I read the following,

"worship in music, in hymns, in song, prepare yourself to get to the door. We have to go where God is"

some words from Psalm 100 (which I see is about entering the Lord's presence) came to mind ...

Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands!
Serve the LORD with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing.
Know that the LORD, He is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name,
For the LORD is good;
His mercy is everlasting,
And His truth endures to all generations. (NKJV)

Also, the Lord has been speaking to me from His word about integrity and how important this is (relating to prayer - faithfulness and honesty/sincerity).
