A Peculiar People; the Lord has made

Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life;
that he may please Him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
And if a man strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
The husbandman that laboureth must be first PARTAKER of the FRUITS.
Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.

The fruits of the Spirit; love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lust.
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
For faith without works is dead; as the body without the Spirit is dead.

HOW MANY of us say we are Christ's and are still entangled with the affairs of this worldly life?
buying and selling, building and planting, seeking the riches and treasures of this world, marrying and given in marriage?
To live is Christ; to die is gain. Amen.
For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an EXAMPLE, that ye should follow HIS STEPS.
How many have not picked up their cross, little own have walked in Christ's sandals? Amen.
Our ways is not God's ways. Amen.
The potter is still in control of the clay. Amen
Self can not transform self. Nor can self teach self to "love" with God's Love.
God transforms us as we "go thru" and endure trials, tribulations, afflictions, and persecutions that come against us; from faith to faith and glory to glory.
LONG SUFFERING for Him; as He has suffered long for us.
God is perfecting His vessels; that seek Him in Spirit and in Truth. Amen.
What is lacking is found during those trials, and CRYING OUT Abba Father, God cleanses the lacking and perfects His goodness within His vessel.
The clay has to TRUST in Him, who created the vessel, and is bringing this clay to perfection; a vessel meet to be used of the Lord. Amen
Praise God, daily, He continues to mold this piece of clay into a vessel that He can use. Amen
When I am weak, He is strong. Amen. God is in control. Amen

HOW MANY of us say we are Christ's and are still entangled with the affairs of this worldly life?

To live is Christ; to die is gain. Amen.

All of us have been so entangled. Jesus never was. We, however, were entangled before we met the Master. When we met him, if allowed, the work of the Holy Spirit was then started in us. The entangling threads have begun to be severed. If we abide with Jesus to the end, will not all entanglements be severed?

"The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way

Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand." Psalm 37:23-24

We can not justify ourselves, even by the Word; anymore than self can transform self.
Jesus was 30 when his ministry started; He forsaking all, and followed the Father.
