A Prayer Request

I was just finishing reading the last bit of news about Sheldean Human(7 years old) who was murdered two weeks ago and her alleged murderer will appear in court today 9 March.

I ask that we would pray for the parents in this matter as they will come face to face with their daughter's alleged killer today in court.

Lord in Heaven and earth I bring the parents of Sheldean to You today and ask that You will give them calmness in their hearts. Lord make them understand that Sheldean is with You Lord and that she is smiling at them. Give them the courage to proceed in life and that they will move closer to You.

May the person who took the young life away from her be called to justice Lord. In Your Son's name I pray. Amen

Father I lift up this family to You today and pray that You will surround them with Your peace and comfort in this difficult time which brings back such raw memories of their loss. I pray that Your will be done in this situation. Help them to be able to forgive this person for depriving them of their beloved daughter in Jesus' name amen.

Heavenly Father I call on you today to bless this family,comfort them in their time of need. Touch their hearts and reveal your light into their lives, help them to find you and get to know you. If they are believers strenghten their faith.

Lord I turn this prayer now to the accuser,Lord he/she needs you right now not as a judge but as a father. Console him/her for they are lost, in need of a Shepard. Remove the darkness that surrounds him/her that they may repent of their evil ways , that they confess you as Lord and Saviour. Lord I pray that you break the chains , for you came to set the captives free.
Lord let thy will be done. Let your judgement fall.

Praying for the Human family in such a horrific time. Praying for the authorities involved in the legal decisions. Praying for the family of the individual who commited such an appalling act. Praying for that individual too.

Such Sadness

I couldn't imagine losing a child in such a horrific way. I pray to You dear Father, that You find consolation for the loss of this child and others, to devastating and evil ways. May the Human family be blessed by You, oh Lord and find healing through You Lord Jesus Christ.
I pray for the individuals that committed such a horrific act, to be made aware of the greatness of their sin and I pray for their families, that they be able to carry on with the weight of this tragedy in their hearts.
May God bless this world and eradicate all that is evil and replace it with His healing grace. Sometimes this seems impossible, but all things are possible with God.
May the soul of this little child, rest peacefully in the arms of our healing King, Lord Jesus Christ.

praying for the parents for comfort

What a terrible thing happened to the child? I like to quote about a incident happened in India in the state of Orissa. When Graham staines family was burned alive in their own vehicle.Do you know what might have happened to his wife ? Horrible.Graham's wife to to the Indian media that I have forgiven the person who had murdered his husband and son. We should have that kind of faith. The answer made me cry. We christians heart should be made of steel. Let God give comfort the parents of the child in front of the killer.

This thread is quite old, but it is very applicable even today. This was a National story in South Africa this year. It's a very tragic event and court cases are still going on.

Many young children in South Africa, from all genders and nationalities are being raped and killed on a monthly basis. This is the devils work through his followers.

May Jesus return soon on that glorious day and redeeem us all from the clutches of evil.
