My dear, dear, true brothers and sisters in Christ (Romans 8:9), I see an awful travesty being pulled and so may of us are being fooled. Knowing that how Jesus acted and even the words He spoke were of the Father (John 5:19; 8:28), please read this:

Matthew 25:31-46 -“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.

Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’ “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’ “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Today, multitudes of those wearing the label “Christian” are failing to distinguish between the sheep and the goats (a symbol for devils). There are alleged Evangelical leaders (even our Vice President) who claim to be Sheep- and Shepherds who clearly by the criteria and lifestyle of JESUS are goats. Yes they joined the club of Churchianity but do not have the Spirit of Christ in them (or else their concerns would be Jesus' concerns and their actions would be Jesus' actions but instead if you examine their lives they are just the opposite. They do not care about feeding the hungry or housing the homeless or loving their neighbor, they only care about their own self interests and money and power over this nation (power over the nations was a concept Jesus rejected. Luke 4 - “5 Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. “

Jesus had compassion on all people, stood against Pharasaic Religious leaders, went about healing the sick, feeding the poor, even showing this love to His enemies. The Good News was for all people not just one type.

Now read this carefully....Matthew 25:1-4...we see a symbolic representation of the Church (those waiting in the Bridal Chamber) all are doing all the Churchy stuff but then they realize (hear the call) that the Bridegroom is coming. .What we see is that half of them (alleged Christians) do not have their lamps full with what makes light in the world (the oil of the Spirit) and that they had made no real effort to conform to the image of His Son (did not trim their wicks) so they go out into the world thinking they can buy what it takes....but upon confronting JESUS 5 [d]Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. He says unto them “I NEVER knew you”. But they were allegedly of the flock? Maybe even leaders? But they did not have the Spirit of Christ in them as witnessed by their not being and acting like Him.

Are YOU a follower of Jesus? Then be like Jesus to others...we are after all His body in His physical absence. Brothers and sisters do not be fooled any longer. Wake up you sleepers. These hypocrites do not represent Christ. They have never been Christ-like, and do not care about the well being of and equality of (Galatians 3:28) all, they do not care about seeing the poor are fed, they do not care about seeing the homeless are helped, they do nothing to clothe the naked, or desire healing for any but those through which they can be glorified.

Now I realize I may get rebuked for following the real Jesus but I would rather suffer that rebuke and stand among the sheep at the Judgment than among the goats. I get now what Mahatma Gandhi meant when he said if Christians acted like Christ he would become one (and then instead he acted like Christ for his people and changed the Nation). Let us be a force that heals this nation and ACT like our beloved Lord...if it be your will Father, Amen

I actually agree with all you say here, but for many... this is dangerously close to "works". If I have to "do something" in order not to be goat, then it must be wrong.

There is a lot of truth in this, but should we look to the government to make these decisions for us? Or can we do these things on our own?

Jesus had compassion on all people, stood against Pharasaic Religious leaders, went about healing the sick, feeding the poor, even showing this love to His enemies. The Good News was for all people not just one type.

The main reason criticized the Pharisees was because they themselves didn't follow the law that they were telling everyone else to.

I get now what Mahatma Gandhi meant when he said if Christians acted like Christ he would become one (and then instead he acted like Christ for his people and changed the Nation).

Perhaps, but India is still a Hindu nation, and the majority of this nation is unsaved. Besides this, there is still a lot of poverty and inequality in India. Much more so than say the US.
They still have a "caste" system there. Hunger is becoming a problem in the US, but not nearly as much as India and other places.

First off thank you....

So I believe the Scriptures show that anyone who thinks

a) that the Spirit being in you is not supposed to have any effect, OR
b) that alleging to be born of God and then committing acts against Christ

is in grave error...

Furthermore, Paul says in Ephesians 2:10 (the passage everyone conveniently leaves off) - For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. This is exactly what James means when he says he shows his faith by his works.

Having faith or being born of God is not the result of doing any thing, but if one has a Biblical faith and IS actually born of His Spirit these things come forth. God Himself has prepared for you to do these things. Therefore you do not do those things so you are not a goat but by them we can tell who are sheep and who are goats.

God “will repay each person according to what they have done.” Romans 2:6

Anyone who claims to be a Christian and yet claims that we are not judged by our works is speaking against the Gospel as preached by apostle Paul. Such is a self seeking liar and self deceived. Paul spoke of the punishment that awaits these people as follows:

Romans 2:8 NIV But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.
