A Question about the Mark of the Beast:

Ok, I will ask a question that is directed towards those who believe in Eternal Security...

Please note that I do believe in Eternal Security and that I am NOT attempting to start a debate on that issue.

Now,

Ok, when a person takes the mark of the beast, they go to Hell.. There is no chance..

But what about a Christian? Nothing can pluck them out of God's hand correct?

Christ said to be not deceived at that time, even the very elect may be deceived if possible. So i quest the answer is be not deceived, this also includes false prophets.

Ok i see your view now? you mean what about a christian taking the mark and his eternal security? If an angel told me not to worship the beast or his image or take his mark or else, i think id go with the angel guy and obey him.
Actually this angel has already told me, or any man not to take the mark of the beast in scripture. Rev 14:9-10-11

I believe the mark of the beast is Islam. They are constantly persecuting Christians and it is estimated that by the end of the century most of Europe will be Muslim. They have over 109 verses to persecute infidels in their Qur'an and there are already established Sharia Banks that only deal with Muslims. So the mark of the Beast could be accepting this religion which is a perversion of God's word, and unless you are a Muslim you will not be able to buy or sell.

I agree with what you are saying. We are definetly in the end times, all one has to do is watch or read the news. We need to read the Bible, Scripture is clear about the end times. None of us know exactly where we are in the end times.

One thing is, as Christians, we need not fear the end times!

The Travel Card

It is interesting that America is usually satan's guinea pig for end-time strategies,which is why i was not amazed when i read about a vision from a certain christian website.

The person was taken to a demonic gathering place beneath the earth where satan was holding a meeting with all the world's demonic principalities.Near his throne were the Thrones of the Demonic principalities of Britain and America,with two thrones for the principalities for the U.N. and another for a demon called "Ambassador to the White House".

Satan expressly declared that since America was so scared of terrorism, that he would work for the implimentation of the pre-cursor to the mark of the beast, a "travel card" to be issued to all Americans wishing to travel.

This was in early 2004( the time of the vision).

It is clear that as we move towards a cashless society, the mark will be something that men cannot "buy or sell " without it.God gave us signs to recognise it.

1.it will be championed by the second religious beast of revelation.

2.You cannot buy or sell without it.

3.It will come at a time when a one world leader has been established.

Watch out for it.

One thing i have learned in my studies is to take the Bible literally. If you are not totally sure GOd, angels, or the author is writting in parables, take it literally. At that, I do not believe Islam is the mark of the beast. Revalation says the mark with by either on your head or your right hand. That isn't a figure of speech, a person will literally have to have a special mark on a part of their body.

I do agree, completely, that the end times are near. Thank the Lord we as christians do not need to worry!

I have to say I have an opposite point of view, I do not believe Revelations should be taken literally, as you read the book of Daniel you can see and compare the figure of speech with revelations. A Beast for example would be a kingdom, a horn is a ruler or a king, and so on.

I think that the mark of the beast could be some thing like our social security number.
We already can't do a lot of thing without it. And the Bible says that it will be written on our forehead, which could be our mind or thoughts.

Here's my answer to the original question- can we be plucked out of God's hand?

Romans 8: 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
36 As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,
39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.


Nothing can separate us from God except ourselves. We won't take the beast's mark 'by accident' and then forfeit our eternal life. It will have to be a conscious choice on each person's part. When we face God at Judgment Day, we will all know what choice we knowingly made. No one will be able to say that God's judgment is wrong, because it will be done perfectly right and perfectly just. Remember that God wants everyone to be saved, which is one reason why He doesn't make it difficult for us to come to Him.

2 Peter 3: 9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Alpha, i agree with you disagreeing with me. I should have been more clearer. Some things are meant to symbolize, such as the beast as you said. But when it comes to the mark of the beast, i take that very literally. As i do with many of the propheciesof what is going to happen in that time.
