A Question?

I don’t know where I should post this. I’ve posted about this several times. So when I was like 18 I was super depressed and I called out to God. He answered several times. I asked if he was real and to give me a sign. He did that as well. I think I keep running from him. I’ve been in several relationships since then and I always pick the wrong ones. They are all controlling. I get depressed really bad every couple years. I don’t know what is wrong with me. People keep telling me that Jesus is calling me.

First….Jesus has already called you. He calls everyone.
These relationships… what type of relationship do you mean? Living together? Well that would be against Gods will.so it could be him convicting you.
If you are dating and living separately,take a break from him and see how it works out.
Let no one but Christ control you.

How does he call everyone? In what way I mean? We don’t live together no. Or at least not my current one. I’ve lived with one of the past ones. We have 2 kids together. I’m just sad all the time, but I honestly think it’s because I’m not where I need to be with God and I don’t know how to do it really.

People are called by the Holy Spirit. Some may experience it in a different way than others.
With me,it was a constant gnawing in my mind that something wasn’t right.
God will also allow troubles in your life to wake us up.
We have a conscience and know when we have sinned. We also know there is an eternal death waiting for those who are not forgiven of their sins.
We accept and believe Christ is who he says he is,and accept his sacrifice for our sins.
There will be no great lights,or thundering. But there will be a gentle peace come over you.
Then put your faith totally in him.
Your faith will be challenged, you will begin to wonder if you are really saved. The enemy will do his best to convince you it didn’t happen. Faith,that is the key
If you were sincere when you asked for forgiveness,it happened. Just keep believing and trusting in Christ. There will be ups and downs but you are a child of God.
