Daniel 9:24 - we know this verse deals with the end times because once Israel pays off the 70 weeks 3 things happen which only happen when Christ reigns.

1. End of sin - has Not happened yet.
2. Reconcile Israelites to back to God through Christ - has Not happened yet.
3. Bring in everlasting righteousness - has Not happened yet.

So we see this speaks of a future time that boarders on Christ return.
Verse 25 is dealt with in both Ruth and Nehemiah.
Verse 26 tells of Christ being cut off not for himself but for us
Verse 26 is an Identifier of location the antichrist comes from.

The people who come to destroy the temple in 70ad were the romans...
Now the Prince of these people (that shall come and confirm a treaty of 7 years.

will also be a Roman......

He will come in peaceably into the Fattest places (world leaders - UN etc) (Dan 11:24)
we see this in Revelation 6:2 that the King comes with a Bow - this is a sash or ribbon and Not one for arrows. (Strongs 5115)

we can follow daniel 11:24 all the way through till Christ return at 12:1-2 - so again we touch base with the coming of christ...

The antichrist is a roman who comes into all the kingdoms and other "Fat" places without force and just might wear a sash like idk a pope or some such leader...
Before the AC though is 10 leaders Not from 10 countries but 10 global regions (Rev17:12-13)

So it is clear the deal maker is a roman... some muslim nations (gog) will sign the peace deal

One thing of interest is in Ezekiel 38:5 where persia in the last days come's against Israel wasnt able to do this with saddam in control of iraq and now that no longer stands in the way.
