A Soul in Anguish
A divided mind, A lonely Spirit
A soul in anguish
You are in bitter distress
It’s a sinking ship
You are limping and you don’t know how to heal
You want to stay in your house, But you cannot
You walk out into the cold night, Your spirit is in turmoil
You go to telephone, telephone a friend
Seeking Hope, Seeking a shoulder to lean on
If You ever needed the Lord, it is now.
You struggle with them thoughts, sinful thoughts
Tears trickle down your face
Because you know not what to do
You cannot heal yourself
You want to do well
You want to do what is right
You lose his blessing and it brings death
It is Sin, an impure thought life
You struggle, you need His help
You don’t want to do it again; you don’t what to think it again
You repent, yet you don’t know how to heal.
In His Omniscience, If God knows that you will fall again
Why does He not taken these sinful desires out of you
You cry. You are Heartbroken. You want to Heal. You are in Pain
An impure thought life has wrecked you.
