Good choice of music. Very edifying. M W Smith has a heart for the Lord and it is reflected in his music.

You can't go wrong listening to music like that. We play this type of music a lot in our home. It creates a good atmosphere.

There is so much music inspired by demons out there, even some so called Christian music. But it is good to see that there is also music which is inspired by The Father, The Lord Jesus and his Spirit.

I completely agree with you! M.W. Smith is one of my favorite Christian artists! When my grandfather passed way, the church held a regular service to honor him and we sang "Breathe." After that sermon I ran out and bought the CD. He is such an inspiration! I listen to Smith's music and tears flow easily because of how moved I feel when I listen to his songs!

Suprisingly, "Above All" is the only Christian song I really don't like. I used to listen to this song...but then in a church service my pastor mentioned this song specifically; really only the lyrics "You took the fall and thought of me". My pastor basically said that when Jesus took the fall he wouldnt have thought of 'me', and that that line is worldly and more of a sinful mind because of how perfect Jesus is and was...I dont know how to explain what i mean like fully...

but Jesus thiught of u and me in sense that it was his mission to gave His life for our sins.

The way I take this beautiful song is that even if there were only "Me" or only "you" in this world, He still would have "Taken the fall" for us so that we might be saved and spend eternity with Him. He loves us that much to do that for us. So, I don't think for a moment that there is anything "worldly" about this.
