Activist Judge Overturns Marriage Laws; Homosexual Marriage Now Legal In All 50 States

How would you like to wake up one morning and learn that the above headline was the top story in every newspaper in America? That hasn't happened—YET! The vote on the Marriage Protection Amendment (sponsored by Sen. Wayne Allard of Colorado), making marriage legal only between one man and one woman, is scheduled for a vote in the Senate June 6.

How has a small minority of less that 2% been able to force this on the American public? One reason is that those who believe in traditional marriage have been silent.

Some Senators feel they are safe voting against the Marriage Protection Amendment (MPA) by confusing their constituents with a lot of political double talk. Regardless of the political double-talk, remember this: If a Senator votes against the MPA, he or she is in reality voting for homosexual marriage.

Your Senators need to hear from you today! Tell them you want them to vote for the MPA. Let them know that if they refuse to do so you will remember it when election time comes. That is tough language, but the homosexual grip on some Senators is so strong that that is the only language some understand.

Send an email to your two Senators today. (If either of your Senators is co-sponsoring the Marriage Protection Amendment, he or she will receive a thank you. If either of your Senators is not co-sponsoring the bill, he or she will get the letter encouraging them to vote for it.) And please, please forward this to friends and family. They probably don't understand how close the homosexual activists are to getting homosexual marriage legalized.

I live in Canada, and the Gay Marriage Bill went back through the law making process to try to get rid of it, but it ended up staying and i think there are very few provinces here that do not have the Gay Marriage. I think that it should be got rid of forever. I heard this from one of my friends. "God created Adam and Eve NOT Adam and Steve"

I think it was a British statesman named Edmund Burke who said, "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to stand by and do nothing."

We can see the truth of this in the western hemisphere by observing how respect for the very name of God has slipped to new lows in recent years. We can see it in the way God's enemies have succeeded in legalizing sin. In the United States, we now have "adult entertainment zones" within which porn shops and strip clubs can operate legally.

We say, "Oh well, nobody really gets hurt. Besides, money goes to help our schools" as state lotteries spread their tentacles across the land and casinos reach into the pockets of the gullible poor.

And our thoughts echo the words of the serpent in Genesis 3 ("Did God REALLY say......?".) when the sanctity of biblical marriage is attacked by the gay community.

It is time for Christians to stand up and speak up in the voting booth and in the public media; time for us to make our corporate voice heard and to snatch our countries away from the enemy!

Teraside, in what world are you living in? It already happened here. The constitutional court told parliament that they only have one year to change the law to allow "marriage between same sex couples" and if they didn't do so then the courts would automatically recognise it as lawful and binding. This was 1 December 2005. This is probably the first time in our history where the court has changed the law.

No, you didn't offend me at all Teraside. Perhaps I should have put a smile in there. Just shows what world we are living in these days that maybe it wasn't really that much in the news as I had thought. South Africa has been somewhat liberal in recent years, perhaps a bit too liberal. I have always known that sometime this will happen. In the end everyone has the freedom that God has given them to make their own choices and all we can really do is to live our lives the way God wants us to and hope others will follow. This will change the way marriage is viewed, but we don't have to let it change the way we view it and it certainly won't change it for God.
