But along with that... something worst happened, and the result is I have grow cold with my relationship with God... I don't want to elaborate here...I hope anyone can PM me. thank you. I want to take 1 step back closer to Him... I know this is the step. :embarasse

Remember the story of the prodigal son. He found out where he was better off and returned back home and his Father was waiting for him and with arms wide open and threw a feast for him as he was happy he had returned home. God wants all the prodigals to return home as His love is greater than anything. God is love.

God bless

LLJ

Im afraid if I go back... He will punish me from turning away...I feel so ashamed.

That is not now nor has it ever been God's heart towards you.
He knew every mistake you would ever make and saw every time that you would stumble and yet He sent His Son to pay your price.
It is one of the enemies favorite tactics to try and keep us from the only One who can really help us.

I guess so... everytime I try to think about it... I tremble in fear... and then I say to my self, "if i don't go back, then i won't be punished." I would always be reminded of the story of the prodigal son... yet the fear in me is greater. I cant understand it at times... I tend to go numb about it.... and just go on with my daily life. But I know theres something wrong...

Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

The only thing wrong as I see it is the confusion about what His grace means. He says that when we ask forgiveness He always hears and He removes our transgressions as far as the east is from the west. He chooses not to remember them anymore. We are able to stand because Jesus Christ has become our righteousness. When the Father looks at you He sees you as righteous as His Son. In other words it is impossible to be any more acceptable than you are- God loves you like He loves His Son, He accepts you like He accepts His Son.
So were could the problem be? It is not with the Father who waits by the roadside with robe and ring at the ready.
The sense of guilt and condemnation that separates you from God is not His doing. It can come from only one of two places-

Yourself- not understanding the power of His grace- refusing to forgive yourself- and/or "feeling" to dirty to come before God.

Satan- he is the accuser of the brethren and loves to cull a sheep away from the Masters protective hand.

Either way you need to repent from doubt and unbelief- have faith in God's mercy and grace- do not have faith in your problems.
Accept God's forgiveness and began to thank Him for His mercy.

Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Heb 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

1Jn 3:20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
1Jn 3:21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1Co 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

Rom 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
Rom 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Rom 8:33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
Rom 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Rom 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Thanks so much... I guess satan is winning on me... i feel like having a cup of cofffee with him and believing all his stunts... he's accusing me of my sins and telling me i wont be accepted back. I want to end the conversation now. *dropping the coffee*... for all I know it has other things than caffein. Im going back to my Father... I know He will embrace me back. =) Thanks y'all... TalkJesus is really more than a site to me...

Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

None.

Praise God!

Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Jud 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
Jud 1:25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Act 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

I used to be very active in the church just like you Truehearts, very active that I had to go to church 7 days a week... to take care of matters. Thinking the Lord was glorified with what I was doing. I realized later on I didn’t even have enough time to spend with the Lord as I should too. Thank God for bringing me out of that system that drained me spiritually.

Well my point is the Lord is not up to what we can do in the church organization, he wants you to have personal relationship. Invest your time their.....

Luke 10

38 Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house.
39 And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word.
40 But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me."
41 And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things.
42 "But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her."

I think that is what exactly happened to me. I got burned-out... I was SO BUSY, SO BUSY for the church events, organizing, planning, making things work... in the midst of it, i held on my own strength and weaken my relationship with TRUE source of POWER. I have neglected the most important thing... thinking I will please Him by accomplishing all those errands... Its was the perfect timing for the enemy to prowl me... And I was trapped... Lately I was thinking its forever, but having been here and recalling God's grace, that His love is forever and Im forever His. Im coming back home, without any hesitation.
HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER.

I Miss my time with you by Larnelle Harris:

"there he was just waiting,

in our old familiar place

an empty spot beside him,

where once i used to wait

to be filled with strength and wisdom

for the battles of the day

i would have passed him by again

if i didn't hear him say

(chorus)

i miss my time with you

those moments together

i need to be with you each day

and it hurt's me when you say

you're too busy

busy trying to serve me

but how can you serve me

when your spirit's empty

there's a longing in my heart

wanting more than just a part of you

it's true

i miss my time with you

what do i have to offer

how can i truly care

my efforts have no meaning

when your presence isn,t there

but you will provide the power

if i take time to pray

i'll stay right here beside him

and you will never have to say..

(chorus)"

:-)

There another song that I know of.

Verse 1:
This is my prayer in the desert
And all that's within me feels dry
This is my prayer in the hunger in me
My God is a God who provides

Verse 2:
And this is my prayer in the fire
In weakness or trial or pain
There is a faith proved
Of more worth than gold
So refine me Lord through the flames

Chorus:
And I will bring praise
I will bring praise
No weapon forged against me shall remain

I will rejoice
I will declare
God is my victory and He is here

Verse 3:
And this is my prayer in the battle
And triumph is still on it's way
I am a conqueror and co-heir with Christ
So firm on His promise I'll stand

Bridge:
All of my life
In every season
You are still God
I have a reason to sing
I have a reason to worship

Verse 4:
This is my prayer in the harvest
When favor and providence flow
I know I'm filled to be empited again
The seed I've recieved I will sow

By Hillsong written by Brooke Fraser (I think)

Reread the underlined words! We all need to remember that we are filled to be emptied again, BUT we have to be filled again!

Lord Jesus, Fill us will your Spirit and empty us into other people, your Spirit flowing through us!

When we get empty, that mean we need to take some God time and pray, read the Bible, worship until we are filled and ready to pour out again.

Love you Genesis!
