Let me start by saying I should not of said no but I was caught off guard

I understand the lie is wrong but was my reasoning

Here it goes

When my daughter contacted me n I went to meet her we had spent some time together she was 20 at the time n I had no contact with her since she was two that's a whole other story

But anywho she had asked me a question about her dad I said no

I said no because I don't believe I have the right to destroy the world her dad had built up for her
I believe he built n he should b the one to destroy it not me

I had asked before n the question was do we who say we Love YH have the right to destroy people because we hold the power of Truth with us

I'd appreciate all thoughts

Thanks

Hello @Twistie,

That must have been difficult for you:  but I think your response to your daughter's question was the right one. For your response had the power to affect not only her life but that of the one of whom she was enquiring: and as you say, was not your decision to make, but his.

As you say, it was an instinctive reaction, leaving little time for fore-thought, but I think your response was the only one you could have made in the light of the circumstances. You can only commit both to the Lord, and pray that His perfect will be done in regard to them, according to His love and grace.

With love in Christ Jesus
May He comfort your heart as you trust in Him.
Chris
