I love to watch football (both kind really, but I'm talking about American here). When it comes to sports, I'm the son my dad never had. I love to watch most sports. But especially football. So, I'm really excited because it's been gearing up now. Preseason has already started and Week 1 is in beginning of September.
My favorite team is San Francisco 49ers! Woo Hoo! I know a lot of people just jump on a band wagon and claim their favorite team is the current winning team, but I'm not one of those people. lol. And since my team is mainly rookies and younguns, I'm feeling we probably won't go to the big game (Superbowl). But, I'm not a pessimist and I do have hope that they can and will!!! lol.
Anyone else like American football? Please share your fave teams and what not.
Oh and as for the real football, I like that as well. USA doesn't have the dedicated soccer fans seen all around the world where that sport is popular, but there are a couple of us. I just recently got into soccer (about 2000 or 2001). So, I'm pretty new to the sport. My favorite club team is Manchester United (I know, I know, it should be DC United...lol, but it's not...lol). I get their newsletter and everything. My favorite country team is obviously USA. Although, I'm pretty satisfied with Italy winning the World Cup. Better than France (nothing wrong with them I just favor Italy more).
But I do have to say I'm pretty mad about the official's calls on the USA game against Italy. But they already won and it's cool. lol.
So there you have it. I'm a girl into sports. And proud of it! :shade:
