I remember when California passed this bill, and I said the main reason they are passing this bill is to go after and bankrupt the Catholic Church, and their tactic worked.
I am in no way defending the Catholic Church, or these child molesters that were in the clergy. But most of these cases were from the 60’s and 70’s that is why California changed the statute of limitations law on child abuse in order to try to bankrupt the Catholic Church.
