An abused child

My step-son is abused by his biological mother. We have done all we can through the courts on our own, which amounts to nothing. But the one thing we failed to do is ask for others to pray with us, up until now. So, can we just all pray that Brandon be protected both physically and emotionally for the next 8 years (he's 10 now)?

Lord, we know every little child is precious to you, and you will not turn away those brought to you, so we lift up Branden before your throne, and pray you will intervene on his behalf in the mighty name of Jesus, amen!

Zep 3:17 The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

I will be praying for Brandon. I pray God will soften his mother's heart so she will not beat him any more. God loves all His children.
