Greetings,

much has been said (written) here at TalkJesus over the last month, talking about salvation, Faith, works, legalism etc.

I'd like to offer the following Scripture portions for all who have ears.

May you be able to hear the Word, no matter how you might think, no matter how you might feel, no matter what your opinion is, no matter if you agree with anyone or not and no matter what else you have been taught. These few portions of Scripture speak volumes especially given the recent discussions and are given here, now, for edification in love.

Bless you all ....><>

Thou shalt call Thy walls Salvation, and Thy gates Praise.

The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

Ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone in Whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: in Whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. To Whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

Praise waiteth for Thee, O God, in Zion.

Isaiah 60:18 ; Revelation 21:14 ; Ephesians 2:19-22 ; 1Peter 2:3-5 ; Psalm 65:1

"Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;
I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,
Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob." Ps 132:3-5

"For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.
This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it." Ps 132:13-14

Where do we suppose Zion is? What is our place of Rest?

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. " Matt 11:28

Hmmm? Does make one stop to think, does it not?
