An Old Friend

I ran into one of my old friends the other day and we sat down and had lunch together. I told him that I'm begining my relationship with Jesus Christ. He went on to say bad things about religion and especially with Jesus Christ and I became very angry.

He said that Jesus coming down from heaven to save everyone.. humuliating himself could be a trick. He said he doesn't know which religion to believe nowadays.

This angered me alot.. is this blasphemy of the holy spirit?

No brother that is not blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, if you friend does not know Jesus, you cant expect him to 'believe' simply because you do.

If you ran into an old friend, and he told you something you did not understand or believe, would you want him to get angry with you? Christ needs no one to defend His good name....but those who would imitate Him must love as He loved.
