A Covenant of faith was established between GOD and Abraham.
The Mosaic Law was added 430 years later because of the transgressions of people.
Christ died for all as a final sacrifice for sins to fulfill the Mosaic Law and redeem us from the curse for sins of the Mosaic Law, to establish a covenant of grace by faith, and end division between Jews and Gentiles.
Christ was raised from the dead, ascended into Heaven, and then descended on Pentecost as quickening Spirit along with Holy angels to begin the first resurrection.
Gentile nations: by being without Christ they were without GOD in the world, called the Uncircumcised by the Circumcised (“Jews”). Elect Gentiles received the gift of the Spirit of adoption, were forgiven of past sins by being baptized with water, were reconciled to GOD and alive WITH Christ (not IN Christ) by receiving the Spirit of adoption when forgiven of all trespasses by repenting and confessing their sins. They were spiritually crucified with the Spirit of adoption as they were conformed to a likeness of Jesus Christ and His death to be justified by being baptized with the Spirit of Jesus Christ into His death and born of GOD as a risen member in Christ Jesus. This is how a Gentile was born of the Spirit, adopted and saved from death.
For the Israelites: descendants of Israel, “Jews,” called the Circumcised.
Israelites as descendants of Jacob were born holy by the Holy Spirit of GOD in them, who repented and believed were forgiven of past sins by being baptized with water “in the name of Jesus Christ.” Those whose heart was circumcised of the sins of the flesh (righteous-“Jews”) were justified and saved when forgiven of all trespasses by repenting and confessing their sins. Those with sin in their life were spiritually crucified with Christ as they were conformed to a likeness of Jesus Christ and His death to be baptized with the Spirit of Jesus Christ into His death and risen as a son of Israel and heir of GOD in Christ Jesus. This is how an Israelite was born of the Spirit and saved from death.
The Anointed: born holy with the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ in them after being conceived by parents with the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ in them. This gave them the right to be born of GOD by being made alive with Christ as a child of GOD when forgiven of all trespasses by repenting and confessing their sins as they trusted in Jesus Christ to be forgiven. They grew in wisdom and grace as they overcame the world by Jesus Christ being formed in them to be sanctified wholly by being anointed with the Holy Spirit of GOD the Father as a son and heir of GOD with their name secured in the book of life to go out no more.
After sixty-two weeks after Jesus Christ began His ministry, His Spirit was cut off from being received by the grace of GOD for their faith because the people began to follow Law-like doctrine created to contain the overspreading of abominations. This ended the first resurrection, the world went into perdition, and the rest of the “dead” did not live again for over 1000 years.
1260 years later, during the reformation, believers began receiving the grace of GOD for living by faith again (not law), and the “dead in Christ” of 1 Thessalonians 4:16 began to be raised to life again (born of GOD) from being spiritually dead in trespasses and sins.
The kingdom began to be given over to the beast by false doctrine and people fell away by pursuing worldly lusts, a love of money and pride, seen in Revelation 17. No prayer in schools, no Bible in schools, abortion, gambling, drugs, same-sex relationships, transgender perversion, pornography, riotous living, etc.
The Spirit of Christ will return with a “shout” (broadcast for repentance) to restore sound doctrine and end division among believers for the spiritually “dead in Christ” to rise again and be saved. The Kingdom of God will continue to grow and overcome the world as the good news is spread and the lost are saved as risen members in Christ Jesus, for the kingdoms of this world to become the Kingdoms of our Lord and His Christ.
In the name of the Lord Jesus, may GOD bless,..........with love in Christ'
And everything, whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him (Colossians 3:17).
We never do our best, because we can always do better.
