I promised nicholas I would post a prayer request for him today. He hasn't been on much recently as he is still in agony.

First the good news - for those of you who know nicholas, you will know he had many surgeries just before Christmas on his knee. He has now found a new team of doctors who have found a hidden tumour that is the cause of all his problems. They have already started him on a new treatment regime.

However he is travelling to Dublin today and will have gruelling surgery tomorrow (Thursday). The following will give you an idea of what he is to go through.

"They have taken me in for short periods of intense treatment. This week they will paralyze me literally from the pelvis down as activity in both legs is causing inflammation around the site of the tumour. Once they get better imaging three surgeons will be involved in the operation. Orthopaedic, neuro and plastics to rebuild the tissue .The risk of infection is too great to do a normal biopsy - you remember the infection triggered by the last surgery almost killed me. I am on oral anti cancer medication and wear lignocaine patches over the area to locally anaesthetize the core site. Still I depend on Morphine in significant doses."

Please remember Nicholas in your prayers. As he said an infection the last time nearly killed him. It is only the grace of God that gives Him strength to put up with the pain he is in.

Hey Sunshine,

I will certainly keep Nicholas in my prayer. That his hope in the LORD will renew his strength. He will soar on wings like eagles; he will run and not grow weary, and he will walk and not be faint. (from Isaiah 40:31 - the "theys" change to "he" - my prayer for Nicholas). God bless you both.

Love,
Snowrose

Lord Jesus, please touch Nicholas today, let the comforting balm of your Spirit relieve his suffering, and heal his knee, in your name we ask! amen

Jer 17:7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.

I have prayed to The Almihty GOD, Jehovah through Christ Jesus, for your Nicholas. It is my hope that The Almighy GOD take his pain away. May your walk with The Almighty GOD & Christ Jesus be a Blessed. *genesis!

I will pray for brother Nicholas. I feel sorry that he is going through all this pain but no amount of pain cannot be soothed and remedied by our GOD, Savior, HEALER Jesus Christ.

I a 100% faithful that GOD will heal him permanently and Andrew will glorify the Lord as a living testimony.

Know that he is in my prayers and also in those at my church family here. We will be awaiting a praise report God is so good all the time and with his healing hands he heals that which may seem impossible but through Christ all things are possible . God bless you always!

Lesley!

Dear God please be with Nicholis and watch over him. Lead the doctors hands during his treatment and please Lord let your healing touch keep him from pain. Give him and his loved ones the strength they need to get through this time. Thank you God. In Jesus's Holy name we pray. Amen

Father may your mercy and grace be ministered to Nicholas even now. Help him to be relieved of this terrible pain I pray. In the name of Jesus

Good news from Nicholas today guys. He's home now from hospital and this is part of a pm he sent me:

"I am not long home from hopital but I am delighted to say that finally I believe they are on top of the illness. The pain levels are much lower and it seems as if the leg is settling after three operations in Dublin. My goodness the technology that is available in a private hospital is so much more advanced that the local one. It makes such a difference to feel better and I thank God for His Blessings."

He's still on strong painkillers, but less than he had been on. Praise the Lord for His goodness and faithfulness to Nicholas. Thank you Father.

Its wonderful news. Send my best wishes to him. Oh and yes you are so right, God is always faithful.

Thank you Father for Your loving kindness, faithfullness, caring and love.

Praise GOD and I am happy for brother Andrew. GOD is good and watches over us. I believe these experiences people go through very much humble them to a point where they have one motive...seek the Lord for comfort!
