I remember watching a video on YT years back that talked about exorcism. A woman who was possessed talked to a Protestant minister who was powerless to exorcise the evil spirit and said that the Protestant movement was in itself the work of the devil. It was the evil spirit talking and it is highly likely a lie, but the more I look at the fruit of the Protestant movement the more I wonder.

I read somewhere that said in the last days, sheep shall be turned into wolves. We should expect that those who would attack us the most would be among those who call themselves Christians.

Is this really anything new though? Roman emperor Constantine claimed to be a Christian and by all accounts believed himself to be one.....however, from his actions we learn that he sought primarily to "control" the Christian movement by merging it with politics.

On to Martin Luther......"founder" of the Protestant movement, whom many champion as a "hero of the faith." It is well documented from his own writings that Martin Luther, even in his latter years, was an anti-Semite who openly advocated for the destruction of Jewish schools, synagogues, and communities.
We have been living in the "last days" since Christ ascended and it should be no surprise to true believers that the enemy has continued to ramp up his deceptive undermining of Christ's church.....THE church....the BODY of believers.

We must hold out out hope however, that even though many have "made a wreck" of their faith and have succumbed to distraction and divisiveness in organized churches......God's Word still stands on its own. The truth of the Gospel message is still out there. Spiritual unity can still be found among many believers. I believe we have entered the days (which Jesus Himself spoke of) where the Kingdom of God must truly be sought out with diligence.

"But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." (Hebrews 11:6)

"The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field......" (Matthew 13:44)

"You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart..." (Jeremiah 29:13)

"....and with every unrighteous deception among those who are perishing. They perish because they did not accept the love of the truth in order to be saved. For this reason God sends them a strong delusion so that they will believe what is false, so that all will be condemned—those who did not believe the truth but enjoyed unrighteousness." (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12)

That last passage though........ Yes, God will do what is necessary to preserve the truth of His Word and the message of the Gospel......even send a delusion to those who choose to follow unrighteousness and the ways of the "Lawless one." Those who would seek to tear down the Body of true believers with deception, distraction, and divisiveness.

The RCC is primarily driven by men's ambitious and building men's kingdoms rather than God's. The fruit of that ambition is evident.

People are misguided and deceived because they value their connections with humans more than their connections with God.
