Rex Humbard passed away Friday at age 88. He pastored The Cathedral of Tomorrow in Akron, Ohio and was on both television and radio for years.
He personally touched my life in that during one of his rallys held in October 1972, my father stood up for prayer. My father had 2/3 of his right lung removed while in college during the 1960's in two surgeries and had been battling chronic lung issues and was continually on antibiotics for his condition. Long story short is that God manifested a divine healing on him and the antibiotics were no longer required.
