When my prayers are becoming hindered,i look right to this first!( Luke 16:10) Have i been faithful in the little things God has both told me and shown me? Like a man in a deep hole, the man prays to the Lord, because he wishes to get out of this hole,a little while later,a person comes by and sees you in the hole,They yell hey!! Here is a rope for you!!( 1 cor 10:13) Your escape! But you say, hey thanks!! But I am waiting on God to help me.AH what?

You see brothers and sisters I sure, like many of you have done the very same thing. I am looking past the answer, to find a more deeper answer. Like Moses on a mountain answer. But yet I have not taken the rope provided by the Lord to get out of the hole first!

Was I first faithful in thanking God for my first answer, the rope? Did I use that rope to climb out of the hole, and give further praise to God? Then after getting out of the hole, did I look for another who was in one to help him or her?

That my brothers and sister is being faithful in little. If God has told you to quit smoking, and you still are, just one of so many examples. I judge no one who smokes, but you get the point here. Why would the Lord grant you a larger measure?

We want God to give us a greater measure, but have never been faithful in the smaller ones? Let us say you are a bank cashier, and you want to become a bank manager one day,if after your shift is over your cash box is short nearly every shift you work, how can you become a bank manager??

You have not been faithful in the job you now have. Use the little measure you have well,so then a greater measure to you can be obtained. God is sure not going to give you more then you can handle already!! How would that be fair? And we sure know our Lord is fair and just, as well as having great mercy and grace. So when my prayers seem to bounce off the walls,I look here. May this help all of us to be faithful in little. So then!! we can be faithful in much!! Praise God.

I sometimes get sidetracked from looking at God instead of myself when I endeavor to do good works for the Lord. I want to do so much, when God has another point of view!
I realize it's not about what I want to do for Him, but what God wants.

Regarding your message, the book, "Don't sweat the small stuff" came to my mind and made me think, don't forget the small stuff!
Thanks Mark, great message!
