Are we being our brother’s keeper?
Are we being our brother’s keeper? I don’t think that most of us know what that means to be a brother’s keeper. Maybe those who don’t have siblings don’t understand it but those who have brothers and sisters know what it means to be our brother’s keeper. You know that no one could never slander or say anything about your brother and sister once you around cause that will be fight or war.
The same way we are with our earthly siblings we should be with our spiritual siblings because we all share one Father (Jesus Christ). Instead of gossiping and backbiting your brother or sister in Christ we should be defending them not bringing them down. Cause this is not advancing God’s kingdom when we are hurting one of God’s kid.
Romans 14:4 say “Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.”
Also Romans 14:10-13 “You, then, why do you judge your brother? Or why do you look down on your brother? For we will all stand before God's judgment seat. It is written: 'As surely as I live,' says the Lord, every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.' So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God. Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in your brother's way.”
Therefore let us stop making our sisters and brothers in Christ the enemy. We all fighting the same fight wouldn’t it be easier to join together and fight our common enemy Satan. As Christians let us live by example and be our brother’s keeper and encourage each other in the Lord as we finish our race to see Jesus face to face one day.
