Are we in the end times?

There has been two occasions at church of people speaking in tounges and then telling us that we are in the end times and that we need to start telling others about Jesus because people will be saved because of us. Now I don't think this is unscriptural? With the Earthquake in Japan it has me feeling like we are. But it does scare me. It scares me because I feel like I won't endure until the end. There are plenty of people I know right now who need to hear about Jesus but I don't tell them because I'm scared. I always say, ok God today I'll do it please help me to not be so scared and let me speak out about your love. But no, I get scared and don't tell anyone. I feel like I am slipping away sometimes and will lose my salvation and when Jesus comes back He'll be dissapointed in me.

It does sound silly I guess or maybe I'm over reacting (which I do do too often)

Sometimes I feel like I don't fear Him but rather I am afraid of Him.

Oh yes, these are certainly the last days. But everything you have said is of satan, he wants to plant those thoughts in ur head and hold u back from what God has called u to do. We are called by God to be MORE than conquerers. Satan is an already defeated foe, and he must be dealt with as such. As u live in righteousness thru obedience in Christ u can now walk in the spiritual authority to go up in warfare against satan. You can now rebuke him and denounce him for wut he is a LIAR a predator of goodness who only seeks to steal and destroy. Christ is ALMIGHTY and we can defeat satan as long as we repel him in the NAME of Christ.

Hello.

The interpretations of tongues should mean that Christians listening get built up -- they should get something good out of it (see 1st Corinthians 14:5). But human nature being what it is, it's not always the case! We need to be careful.

So I'd be a little cautious about those in your meetings who say "that we are in the end times and that we need to start telling others about Jesus because people will be saved because of us." That might put the wrong kind of burden on some.

The end times in a New Testament context is happening now because it was happening then.

For example: "He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you..." (1st Peter 1:20, NKJV); "He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself" (Hebrews 6:26, NKJV).

As for God's timing in this final "age" (period of time) Jesus taught that it would be unexpected, like someone coming to steal from you in the middle of the night (see Luke 12:40). We are warned to be watchful and ready.

Just run what you hear others say in the meetings through the filter of your Bible knowledge. It will help you stay balanced in Christ.

I don't think there's any reason for you to be scared. You are safe in Him. He cares for you and has saved you from eternal condemnation. So don't worry about that. It's a done deal.

Sharing Christ with others can be really tough! But there's a time in God for doing it and often it's one-on-one. Don't get uptight about it. Just let it show by your lifestyle and conduct that you belong to Him -- then you'll find a time to take it a little further in God's plan.

There's no reason to be ashamed of Him. And there's no good reason to ram Truth down people's throats outside of His subtle prompting. Let Him guide you, bit by bit along the way.

In time people will know, if they don't already, that you're His and He is yours. Carry the Truth inside you and it will quietly show.

It's very nearly time for Satan to make his appearance. If you would like more information information then I'd be more than willing to send some your way.

Hello
We have been at the end times since Jesus death.

I'd suggest you to worship God and find new love and strengthen your relationship to him before outreach. We need the holy spirit in us to be strong before we can outreach, remember only Jesus can save not us were just mere messangers :) so get holy spirit strong in you and be led by the spirit...

thats just my advice...

Good day- when we hear about earthquakes happening everywhere and war after war, and famines and pestilences remember what Matt 24 is telling us-that those events are just the beginning of the end times.
Jesus talks about Christians being hated and killed and many false prophets shall rise and deceive many. then the abomination of desolation has to occur and then the great tribulation at a level we have never seen before since the beginning of time(verse21) Then the arrival of false Christs performing miracles and wonders(verse24) and after the great tribulation heavenly signs will darken the sun and the moon and stars appearing to fall from the skies and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken and only then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven coming in the clouds of heaven.
In Revelation 15, 16, 17 Even when Jesus returns he pours the awesome seven last plagues-these are indescribably horrible-Japans earthquakes pale in comparison to what is coming-God is doing this to bring men to our senses and to save us from destroying ourselves off the face of the earth. A third of mankind, billions of people will die who resist and fight Jesus, their very Creator, when He returns.
What we are seeing today is mild measured by what is in store for us. It sounds gloomy but if mankind won't obey God and His laws He has to save us from our own annihilation the hard way.
Even if our nations as a whole will not repent, we can as individuals.
" Watch therefore and pray always that you may be counted worthy to ESCAPE all these things that will come to pass and to stand before the Son of Man" -Luke 21: 36

ArmyWife08 Any battle I have ever fought in,I was scared to!Let no one fool you into thinking they are not!!

The fear is not the battle itself, the fear is coming out of it intact! Jesus himself at the garden sweat tears of blood looking at his death! Even knowing he would rise again! What you can do, is what I first did after coming to Jesus,I would say well brother of sister I am not ashmed of the gospel( rom 1:16) but because I do not know so much of it at this point in my life,I only know this!! Jesus does love us!! And he cares for us,give them an example in your own life, perhaps speak of a situation where you knew it was the Lord that helped you.

The Lord sure does not call all of us to preach!

But he does call us to give his love every chance we get,and you will find that by just being honest,as you are,God will really bring more light into you,so you can have more confidence in him!

The measure of faith we all have been given, depends on how often we choose to use this measure we have. The more we use this, the greater the measure, and the greater the measure, the more we begin to understand oursleves in a loving caring Jesus!

And what we find out is that by giving of ourselves to others, the more we recieve back!! When i found out this!! WOW!! I wondered why I was ever scared in the first place. My this help you,may this give you the love you need to carry you though yet another day in our Jesus!! amen!

Sometimes it is not words one needs,a hug,a gentle nodding of the head,to let them know you understand there pain,we do this dear sister because we ourselves always need this back! The purpose in giving! Is recieveing not back from people, but rather our Father in heaven rewards us!! And that is so cool!!
