Are you a rowdy Christian or a quiet one?

I am a rowdy Christian. I like a preacher who is so full of the Holy Spirit that he can't stand still while given his sermon. I love singing worship songs to our Lord, hands in the air, and dancing around. I am baptist and my church is a quiet one. As you already know the preacher bores me and you never hear a Amen at any time. I went to a church back east one time and when I left, I was on fire with the Holy Spirit and don't think that I have felt that way since. You could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit in that church and the preacher was just awesome. I just wanted to know what everyone else likes in a church.

That is my kinda of church service, mine is like that and im blessed everytime,i think u can introduce some funky things in ur change like change the style of doing things, maybe they r just pretty conservative

WhozAngel, you came pretty close to describing me and the church I attend. Many of us get positively loud when we worship and yes, we do have newcomers get up and leave because of that. But, that's their business.

We hate to see them go, but its their loss. We're there to worship our God and we're not about to water that down!

The scene changes in my fellowship.

Sunday am we praise and thank and rejoice and bless each other. Pastor delivers the word of God, which I love to hear

Sunday pm, I have to step back as the young folk rejoice, and the music plays. DVD, Drama, Song, Ministry. My wife and I attend in a supporting and overseeing role. I also enjoy the refreshment.

Tuesday we have House groups, throughout the area. I have 20 - 25 attend at my home, to fellowship and pray.

Friday 22-00 hours I meet with other brothers for a time of powerful prayer.

Jesus is good........all the time

My church is totally loud and rowdy. We rejoice, praise and worship our God in different ways but always loudly. We have two morning services , one for everyone and the second one is when us youth break free and get down with Jesus. Evening services are whatever the Holy Spirit leads, but we are loud, rowdy and hungry of more of God.
Even the guest preachers we have are as loud as us.It just does something in your spirit and the more you let out and amen the more you just want to break out and jump around, worshiping our King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

My church is one of the loudest you can find in town we worship our God in drums and harps we not ashamed or scared of anything we get down to the Lord we dance, jump and do all that our beloved God created us to do…oh I’m missing my church now

My church has all kinds of music. We have a professional brass band (that I play in) of around 40 members. We also have a choir of about 30 members. Contemporary worship team, piano, organ. We have lots of talented people in the church, good place to be at.

Same here. I was almost like that when I first attended my church 3 years ago. I stayed, I learned "freedom in Jesus Christ". It was, is beautiful! Why be locked down and quiet? Shout to the Lord! Life is short here, show the world your love for Christ and let the new comers witness this great joy!

I'm an introvert so I usually just sit (or stand) quietly at church. I don't mind the over-happy atmosphere as long as it isn't fake. I'm not a bubbly, happy person however, so I can be a bit tentative around people who behave that way.

I'm not a big fan of modern Christian music so I like the fact that my church sings from the old Hymnbooks. One of my favorite songs is 'The Sweet By and By'.

In the church I'm really interested in... It's soo cool. Everyone's sooo outgoing!!! :D
Even though I'm fairly quiet, they make me happy.
They jump up and down in praises lol :D
I LOVE IT!:embarasse
