During my afternoon lunch I was sitting down and glanced over at the table I had about a assortment of fruits for snacks. Mainly because of these huge green apples really caught my attention. The beautiful green apples looked so delicious and I knew that it would be sweet and juicy by the appearance. I seen the red apples there but I had always ate red apples so I knew how they tasted so I had to try the green apples. I grabbed one and began to eat it was not what I thought it would be it was sour tasting it never even got finished then the lord began to minister to me we all desire the different things in our Christian walk we want to be more then we are called to be. We want to be a big part of the ministry we become spoiled and winy because we want more but yet when God has called us to be a witness or to do a simple task then we become discouraged because its not what we wanted. So we become like that apple the green apple we become sour to the Lord yet if we do what he has called us to do we become inline and in the sweet taste to the lord. We are all called to do something in the ministry whether it be in worship or a pastor or even a witness to others we have to be obedient to the word of the Lord! Don’t be a sour taste for the Lord! When God wants you to be something no matter how small it is do it graciously for we are all members to one body and the body is made of many parts we are all connected to one head and the Head is Jesus So ask your self today am I a sweet taste to the lord or am I a sour taste to him

Rom 12:3-8

3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you. 4 Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5s o in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. 6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. 7 If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; 8 if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.

Thank you for sharing.Just to be able to call His name and know that the Spirit dwells within us is the greatest treasure of all.You have spoken well, for it was said do not tempt the Lord .We are as an oasis in the desert for those who thirst for the knowledge. Our burden is light. We give freely the Word that has been given to us.Praise Almighty God that he has shown you this wisdom.I pray that God will continue to uplift your Spirit and that the Word may flow into your heart unstopping.

Thank you for your responces. You know its amazing sometimes How God will use the simplist things in life to minister to our spirits. I only want to be pleasing to the Lord in all my ways. when I leave this world and go before My father in heaven I want him to say I have done good! He is all that matters to me for he is everything!

Foreverwjesus,

I understand that we must not think too highly of ourselves, and that we should not be like the complainers who wandered in the wilderness during the time of Moses.

Yet I am equally concerned that we cease to "fall short of the glory of God", and that we press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Phil. 3:14) For those of us who follow Christ the scriptures say we are to do his works, and even greater works. This means we too are to heal the sick, raise the dead, and cast out demons. Nevertheless, it appears that our faith is still lacking, for we have much yet to accomplish and be witnessed. So as we strive to manage all the works we think need to be done, I pray let us not lack faith and be neglectful to the mighty works of Christ that all believers are called to do and accomplish.

Sincerely,

CQ

Great post

Good job ForeverwJesus,
I totally agree with you, but some read romans 12 and don't apply it. We should only do what God has asked us to do concerning any kind of ministry in the body of Christ.Just because we see that something needs to be done does not mean that we need to do them. This is why we have the three ring circus ( generally referred to as the christian church) today. Most of organized religion's leaders should read your post and APPLY IT! The sad part is most won't even read it. Again, good job.

I'm late, but yes great read. Thanks for sharing
