Life on the Way

Right Now
by This Beautiful Republic

We've all been there, we're walking down the same road
So don’t be scared, you're not out there on your own

When you’re going through a hard time, it’s easy to feel alone. You feel like you don’t have anyone to turn to. You feel like no one would understand your situation or how you’re feeling.

But even if nobody on earth understands what you are going through, Jesus does. The Bible says that Jesus experienced all of the same feelings that we do. He was betrayed, suffered, was lonely. Pray that Jesus would guide you and comfort you. And trust that he knows and understands exactly what you are going through.

Hebrews 4:14-16

So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

This song speaks to me, because right now nothing matters because He's telling the truth, that I will make it through.

Right now, he knows who I am.

Just in reply Rizen1

My Mum is always saying about how lonely she is, since Dad died, just over 2 years ago.
I have run out of things to say to her.

I read, and so has Mum, a lady's autobiography once, when she was asked did she live alone, she replied 'no' even though no one else lived with her, when she was asked but who else lives with you, she replied 'God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit' I thought this was tremendous.

I know there's no point in reminding Mum of this, nothing seems to get through.

I'll be praying for your mom, that autobiography sounds very interesting.

Love you and God bless.

The book is by Agnes Hancock
in case you come across it somewhere, buy it, it is a terrific read.
She speaks about crawling along the street to get a bus to get to church as the Lord told her she was to be healed and she was.

She lived here in Belfast, did a great work in the Prisons here, men once arrived at her house and asked her was she a faith healer, they had brought a fellow gunman who had been shot, wanting Agnes to heal him, she said she wasn't, I think she prayed, I can't really remember how that went I'll ask Mum to remind it to me.

Mum won't part with it and has read it approx 4 times, guess it doesn't get through to Mum about her Agnes living on her own but not being alone because of the Lord.

Thanks Rizen1

Thank you, sister I'll do a search on the book.

Love you, and may God's love and mercy forever be upon you and your family.

I hope you can find it, let me know either way.
I'd see what I can do from my end for you if you can't.

love you too sis.

Wanted to thank you for this link. I've never heard this song and really needed to hear it today. God bless you.
