Are you teaching your kids HATE ?
I remember watching live as Mcain refer to Obama as " That one ". I was shocked and appalled by his unprofessional behaviour. He allowed his personal animosity towards Obama to come out.
Why did I bring this up?
We set the standards for our kids. If we are prejudice towards those who are different from us we teach our kids the same.
In Snellville, Georgia a school bus mate told Denene Miller's 9-year old daughter the day after the election: "I hope Obama gets assassinated." That very same night, someone vandalized her sister-in-law's front lawn and destroyed her Obama front lawn signs. The hate crime culprits also left two pizza boxes filled with human feces outside her front door
Hate crime graffiti was discovered in Long Island, New York where two dozen cars were spray painted with racial hate messages. Second and third grade students in Rexburg, Idaho were on a school bus singing "assassinate Obama."
Four North Carolina State University students admitted writing anti-Obama comments in a tunnel designated for free speech expression. They wrote: "Let's shoot that (N-word) in the head."
In Mount Desert Island, Maine black figures were hung by nooses from trees in a show of more hate crimes since the election. And in New York City a black teenager was attacked and beat with a baseball bat on the night Obama was elected by four white men in another hate crime incident.

A Spanish immigrant who was beaten and stabbed to death in long island NY by 7 teenagers, because he was Hispanic .
Are the parents to blame in this case ?
What were the conversations around the dinner table. Did they use phrases like mc cain refering to others as “that one, those people“.
We need to be careful how we speak. It’s ok to disagree with others but its not good when Christians and the KKK sound the same. We have the power to mold this generation’s mind. If we act ignorant, they will become ignorant.
The parents of those 7 teenagers should be charged also. When we start punishing parents when kids do wrong, you’ll see more parents being responsible.
Parents will become more involved in their kids lives.
Hate will never cease, but we tame our tongues.
I’m not targeting anyone so please don’t take this personal and respond.
I just want everyone to examine what comes out of their mouths, and not be to quick to justify it with the bible.
Slavery was once justified with the bible .
Talk with your kids and make sure they don’t take your comments about anyone as hate.
