Please place this in the appropriate section if I have posted this thread in the wrong place. Thank you

Okay folks this is a game. The aim of the game is to post something positive about the avatar above you. For instance, if the avatar is a pic of a flower, you might say ~ the avatar above is like a flower in Gods garden of life or something simple like ~ the avatar above loves flowers :D

:-)
Okay now.......
Red (Hair), White (Skin), & Blue (Butterfly)
Remind me of the American Flag. Long may she wave. :-)

Just the military in me coming out!

Unique thread, and nicely done.
I'm curious myself on how many will join in and share their responses!

Mine might be more difficult than it at first appears!

Okay this is a tricky one because it sends all kinds of messages. :D The avatar above tells me that Jesus, known as the King of the Jews, died on the cross for the sins of the world...and he rose again so that all who believe in him by faith, shall be saved from the penalty of sin, which is death. The avatar above also indicates that Jesus will come again.

Alternatively ~ the avatar above can also indicate he laid down his life for us all and he rose again!

Greetings @miracles

A bit of a face and a bit of butterfly.
Both probably beautiful if seen whole.

The verse that came to mind when looking at this

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:51-57

Greetings @Chopper

I really should stop and let someone else answer but your avatar is so full and interesting.

I see a rather stern looking older gentleman peering with intent....Im reminded of my grandfather, the stern look all melting away when he smiled. Lovely.

Now I would love to climb into that avatar and have a look at the books on your shelves and the pictures on your walls. It looks like such a wonderful busy, homely room.

Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 1:2

Fragrant Grace. Your avatar reminds me of a tree planted by the water. You display an air of peace and tranquility which expresses itself externally and reflects inner strength and confidence in your inner man where the Spirit of the Lord dwells.
But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”
Jere 17:7-8

@miracles
Reminds me of some one a tad unsure to step out in the beauty that God has created.

As if they want to but something is holding them back.

Disclaimer. ...that assumption is ONLY from the picture and not the person.
Blessings

Welcome back to Talk Jesus Jim @Wired 4 Fishen

Your avatar is a beautiful reminder of the goodness, power and love of our Lord.

His death on the cross
His caring for the people
A fish to remind us of His miracles
A fish to remind that we are His ......we are fishers of men

Blessings brother

Thank You @Fragrant Grace
It's good to be back.
Hmm let's see your avatar
Kind of says safety and peace and honesty. It makes you feel like God's love is all around.
Just makes one feel safe.
Blessings my Sister in Christ and I pray you and your family are well and able.
Blessings
Jim

@Lanolin

Hello dear! You are from the South Island? IDK but I can see by your avatar that you are a very intelligent and kind person who is always looking to understand and desires to know more about others and has a real heart after God. Gold!

Thank you @Wired 4 Fishen. My face is partially hidden because it's not about me....It's about God. More of you Lord and less of me :D

My mom loved butterflies. They really touched her heart. So now whenever I see a butterfly I immediately think of my mom and it sends love through my heart. So, your avatar with the big blue butterfly reminds me of love.

A majestic cross standing tall indoors. Someone is proud to proclaim their faith. The focus seems to be on Jesus and not self because the avatar does not have
any personal aspects in the picture. This person is likely an active member of their church or has goals set for themselves in their church.

It reminds me of how Jesus did everything that he told us to do, including humbling himself to be baptized, and that be cause of what He did, We can have the same glorious Spirt (as depicted in the photo.) lots of other stuff, but then I would be getting off topic... sorta :)

@pookiejr your avatar reminds me of the scripture that says we see through a glass darkly now but we will soon see Him face to face.

1 Corinthians 13:12
