Band Suggestions...

I enjoy listening to Christian bands, I have some of the ZOE girl and Superchick CDs, I also have a DC TALK CD and a Toby Mac CD. If anyone has any other suggestions besides the bands I listed(cause I already know how good they are) that would be a great help.

Hi!

I guess it depends on the kind (sound, style, etc.) of music you like. Some CD's I've purchased recently and really like are:

Artist - Album

Jars of Clay - Remdemption Songs
Mercy Me - Undone
Casting Crowns - Casting Crowns
Kutless - Strong Tower
Jeremy Camp - Restored

My taste have always leaned towards rock style music but I would certainly not call any of these "hard" rock. They are all well done and have some great songs with great messages!

Oh forgot to mention that you can listen to some great Christian music online through Klove radio. They have a 'webcast' that displays the artist and song title. I believe you can also sample some of the music through their online store.

It's a good way to "shop" for new artists and also find about some you might not know of.

Someone special shared a Casting Crowns song with me called "Who I Am". What an excellent song! It grows on you even if your not a Christian music listener.

These are the Christian bands I like so far:
1.) Jars of Clay
2.) Switchfoot
3.) Sixpence None the Richer

I personally would recommend the self-titled album of Jars of Clay. They are full of songs about the Lord.

Yep, Jeremy Camp's been mentioned......... as Dave said though..... his albums are Restored, Carried Me:The Worship Project, and Stay. I just bought a Todd Agnew CD..... Grace Like Rain. Really like that song. Third Day, Thousand Foot Crutch, Pillar, Day Of Fire........... the list goes on in my head! I'm a musician.... love music!!!! And also, as Dave said, check out radio stations. Good way to get some mix of things before going and buying a CD. Good luck!
