This is a blog post that so yells out the work of God and that can only be explained by the gospel, may it bless you if you choose to read it.

Short version, missionary gets killed by un-reached tribe, later the missionary son goes to live with the tribe that killed his father, and the man who killed his father came to Christ and baptized the boy of the missionary he killed

Greetings,

Thank you Dave. A welcome break in the traffic, so to speak.
We are so blessed to have the privlege of being able to cry ABBA Father.

Dave,

i used to cause Christians as much grief as possible and for that and other disgusting behaviour against the Lord i have been forgiven and know His love in a way that is precious to me. I can only begin to think of the flame in Mincate's heart as he rejoiced in the God of his Salvation!

This story reminds me of Saul of Tarsus who after becoming a believer in the Son of God was called Paul, the Apostle Paul

And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,
Acts 9:1:

But Saul began to destroy the church. Going from house to house, he dragged off men and women and put them in prison.
Acts 8:3

And I [Paul] persecuted this way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women. As also the high priest doth bear me witness, and all the estate of the elders: from whom also I received letters unto the brethren, and went to Damascus, to bring them which were there bound unto Jerusalem, for to be punished.
Acts 22:4-5

When Saul arrived in Jerusalem, he tried to join the disciples, but they were all afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple.
Acts 9:26

How can we explain such transformation except the goodness, the merciful lovingkindness of God in giving His Son that we may be delivered from Darkness into His Glorious Light and THEN to go forth as the very lights we tried so hard to extinguish?
How can we explain the love that was shown to the family of the murdered pilot BY THE very man who murdered him AND the love that the family shared with him?

It can only be God

Thanks again, Dave

Bless you ....><>
