Hello everyone,
I would like a Biblical perspective on being a bartender. I know there's quite the debate on drinking alcohol, but for those that believe it to be ok, what about serving it? I have some plans to be a bartender, but only at a restaurant. I feel as a Christian I shouldn't serve alcohol to people in bars or night clubs. I have frequented those places and know why people go.
The scriptures say Jesus turned water into wine to be served at a wedding. They also say not to cause your brother (Christian?) to stumble. Also, would being a bartender hurt my testimony?
I know the thread on alcohol has been closed because it really wasn't going anywhere. This is an aspect to that debate that hasn't been discussed.
Thanks for your help,
Jared
