Hi dear friends,
I just wanted to share what the Lord has been speaking to my heart about. I myself have a lot of concerns and worries that it usually clogs up my mind. One day while I was writing a letter to a friend, the sun, after many days, peeked through the clouds and this thought came to me - "Be still". There was verse that came to mind - "Be still, and know that I am God"- Psalm 46:10a (NIV)
I saw that I needed to just quiet my heart and listen for His voice. Oswald Chambers describes beautifully what worrying and fretting is, he says quote: " Fretting springs from a determination to get our own way. Our Lord never worried and He was never anxious, because He was not 'out' to realize His own ideas; He was 'out' to realize God's ideas......All our fret and worry is caused by calculating without God."
I need to learn to place everything in God's hands. In my own hands, relationships, things and lives will not reach their full potential. What will happen if I truly let the Lord work in my relationships, things and lives?
Best wishes,
Snowrose
