My good brothers and sisters in Christ! Yesterday in prayer, I was led to something many of us may have forgotton,it is easy to forget,when so many troubles sourround us each day. I to know what fear is,and weakness in my own life,for like many,it is so easy to believe what is seen in our lives.
Bills mount up,food is not there in our cupboards,prayers seem to go unanswered. And we think,is this what I derserve? Have I done such wrong,and have so little faith,that I am left to expercience this? NO!! We are not! Deuteronomy 31:6-8 says BE strong and courageous,do not be afraid or tremble at them,( meaning other people, or situations) for the Lord YOUR God is the one who goes with you.He will NEVER fail you or forsake you.
In verse 7 and 8 an echo of these words is heard from Moses to Joshua and given to all the people of Isreal.When Moses spoke these words unto them,the people knew it was Moses speaking, but not from Moses,they knew God was in him,and that what he spoke was from the very mouth of our LIVING God!
Today April 2 2011 These words again echo from our Jesus unto us! When Moses spoke these words,they even became the very law unto the people,so they would never forget these words.Nor shall we ever forget these words unto ourselves! It is easy to forget these words in good times,and hard to remember them in hard times, such as many face today.
But never the less Words that are written as law inside all of us.Jesus became our example,he was hated,mocked, put down,and laughted at by many. Even as many of you are today,look at you !! You believe but have so little!! So little?? In order to be strong and courageous, we must be able to go to this storage room in us when we need to.
In this storage room,is HIS Word,and in his Word we know we have the following! 1. no matter how we feel,or how things appear to us,we have his everlasting LOVE!( psalm 103:11-17) which is his forgivness for all of our sins in past,present, and yes future,as we repent of them. No matter how we feel,or allow others to make us feel,no one can take this away from us,unless we allow them, or situations to.
Purpose is will,and will is to follow Jesus,no matter how we feel at the time.We are not losers!! For if we are to believe this in ourselfs,then Jesus in us becomes a loser to,and you know that is never correct!
The enemy uses situations and others in your greatest time of need, to bring you to where he is! DOWN!! Discouraged, no hope.The devil knows one thing in his future,because our God in heaven told him what his end is,and the devil knows God cannot lie!( titus 1:2 and hebrews 6:18) He will be put down,and those who have believed his lies,will join him.
I know my dear brothers and sister is is tough!! But be strong and of good courage! Your end is not yet,you have purpose! And that purpose is for others to see our wonderful Lord Jesus break you forth and cause YOU to shine!( Isaiah 60:1) Arise shine for YOUR light has come,And the glory of the Lord has risen upon YOU! Mount up saints of the Most HIGH GOD!! BE STRONG!! and of GOOD COURAGE!! Let Jesus shine through the darkness of your situation,so others who have less then you,can have hope! Blessing to you all!
