Hello everyone,
I accepted Christ when I was 12, there were times when i was passionate about God, times when I wasnt. Now I am so mediocre indifferent, i dont seek God although i go to church an talk to Christian friends. Sometimes I get annoyed to people who talk about god or start to preach or quote Bible verses. Sometimes I really wanna quit. But I really believe in God, I truly believe He is there. This is a paradox, seems like i'm bored, i read bible only when i'm in church.
I cant really describe my problem, is this pride or i'm just burned out...

Hello Kamila,

Please know that this is not being mediocre or even a problem. It may just be the monotonous Sunday after Sunday of religious bureaucracy. Please know that I don’t mean to be disrespectful but I too once felt that way and the only way I found myself out of that tedious circle was getting to know the Lord again. Just me and Him alone. Remember what Paul in 1 Corinthians 3: 1-3 when he said, “Brothers, I could not address you as spiritual but as worldly—mere infants in Christ. I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready. You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarrelling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere men?” Well I wanted some meat ... to get into His word even deeper for a deeper relationship with Him who is never in anyway boring.

So go deep Kamila and deeper still. “However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"— but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. “ (1 Corinthians 2: 9-11)

Many blessings,
Snowrose

A marriage falls apart when communication and quality time is lacking. You have to be in the presence with one another alone and speak to eachother daily and not when you only need something.

This is exactly how God is. The more we endulge in His presence, and the more we communicate with Him on a consistant basis, the stronger that relationship becomes.

Just because we go to Church on Sundays, doesnt mean that it stops by Monday. We need to renew ourselves with God everyday! Praise and Worship shouldnt just be once a week. We have to fall into the Spirit consistantly. Then you will see a change in your conversation with friends, and the Word of God will make you smile again.

And on top of that, get involved in ministry. Youth and outreach ministries are great ways to stay connected with God because you begin to realize that the World needs God, and sometimes the only
God they will see is the God in us.

"People might not read the Bible everyday, but they will read you!"

A minister told me that recently and I live by it.

God Bless ya and keep ya!

squirrels can be violent.. just keep God close to you and have fun.

I had to laugh...@ the squirrels

Excellent responses Sister and Brother...

Sometimes I really wanna quit. But I really believe in God, I truly believe He is there. This is a paradox...

Nah Kamila that is just what life in a box can do to a soul ...

I suggest you do quit.

That is climb out of the box, and discover the God you believe in, but obviously have never known....

Of course that can only happen if you really really really want to know Him...then you will begin looking for Him everywhere...in your walks, in your conversations, in your solitude, in the crowds...

If there is no desire in you to know God, ask Him to give you that desire, and He will do that for you.

Blessings

Now I am so mediocre indifferent,

I hear you Kamila.....Being part of the human race along with you, my answer......based upon my life, is that you ensure you encounter Jesus.

Had I not met Him....so long ago now, I would have gone away into the paths, which human life affords.

But having met Jesus...the bible says "He is risen", I hang on despite the........whatever come against me

Praying for you.....in Jesus

If we let life distract us from the One we love it is no wonder that relationship grows cold and dull.
If we immerse ourselves in the presence of God, Word of God, worship, prayer and just generally learn how to include the Holy Spirit in every aspect of our life everything changed.
We get swept up in His goodness and life becomes vibrant and meaningful.
Anything else is a distraction and a deception meant to keep us away from the only One who can really make a difference.
If the joy of the Lord is our strength and we have no joy then truly we are without strength.
