Greetings,
ever wondered when eternity starts?
Bless you ....><>
Eternity starts with God. But that's an easy way to put it, like my dad would respond to my gazillion childhood questions with "because God made it that way". Well yeah, but what else, engage with me please?
I'm in a conundrum here, because imo eternity obliterates time, and is in its own realm. So, my statement relating time to eternity is already defective. I would put the word eternity into a class of concepts that are defined by their indefinability. Some mathematical calculus solutions converge to a certain number, and as such, are just approximations. For example if a solution were to converge to 1, it would never reach 1, but always come infinitesimally closer to 1. Strange? I think it strange.
While I'm at it, I have wondered how speed distorts the perception of time. For example, if one were to travel at the speed of light, would time seem to slow down, or speed up?
From the Blue Letter Bible site, I heard the word elohim spoken in Hebrew el-oh-ahc with some type of throat inflection. That was fun. I think there is a Hebrew for Dummies book out there.
