Why give your money to people who curse at God, portray hypocrites as christians, curse in the name of Jesus ?
Hollywood has never done anything for church but make it into a joke. They do not need your money.
Use that ticket money and give it to any Salvation Army Santa Claus standing in the cold, in your local area, buy a hot meal for a homeless person or put it in the collection plate at a neighboring church.
I definitely don't plan on going to the theater to see this.
What's with all the "biblical" movies in more recent years? I guess I'm not understanding who exactly they are gearing these toward. I can't imagine anyone with a love for Jesus and even a minimal amount of bible knowledge enjoying some of these flicks like Noah. Not from a perspective of enjoying the truth being told anyway.

It is all about money.Recent Hollywood sees the increased interest in Biblical stories and want to turn that into a buck. The shameful thing is that their re-inactments are not Biblically true, it is just hollywood with their own secular influence to sell to a mainly secular audience, having no real interest in truth and further increasing the publics ignorance. There was a time when Hollywood did God some justice with past Biblical stories like Moses and Exodus and actor's like Charles Heston, which I still enjoy today and see a lot of Biblical facts. I haven't decided to see the new Exodus movie yet, probably won't.
Pureflix makes great God honoring films. Most of the time they get limited release in theaters and become available not too long after their release. Their movies and other faith based films are enjoyed by THE Church and we are a huge fan base of movies that encourage and challenge us. Lots of Churches and ministries will buy out the seats and give the movie tickets away. Lots of Christian groups will make a day of it and have Movie nights etc.
Hollywood took notice and wants a piece of the "Christian market". In addition to their endgame of making money, I think "Hollywood" for the most part delights in making a mockery of God by consistently producing movies that taint the Gospel message with "alternatives" to the truth of Scripture.
"Hollywood" shuns actors that choose to star in faith based films. Keven Sorbo is one example. Jim Caviezel Is another. Both are outstanding actors that have endured the backlash of Hollywood's criticism. Jim Caviezel recently starred in a movie called "When The Game Stands Tall". I saw it twice in theaters. It was a totally outstanding movie about a real dude that loves Jesus and made a real impact in the lives of all who know him. It is an amazing true story. Everyone I know that saw it, Loved it.
Rotten Tomatoes called it cliché and gave it only an 18% positive rating..
Not too long ago two movies released at about the same time. Noah (the Hollywood version where demon rocks help Noah build the ark) and the God honoring Purefilx movie "God's Not Dead".
"Noah" released nationwide whilst "God's Not Dead" had only a limited release it's first week or two. Noah bombed big time. "God's Not Dead" on the other hand, kept adding more theaters and more theaters and was "in theaters" for months!
The "Christian Market" is seen by Hollywood as an easy target. They think we are ignorant and that if they smear a title like "Exodus" or "Noah" on the marquee, we will gladly fork over our cash.
