Breaking a 3 day fast?

in about 8 hours i will have completed my 3 day water fast. It is my first time doing a 3 day fast. How can i break it? I've heard that it is dangerous to introduce regular cook food for the first 2-3 days after breaking a fast of 3 days or longer. A large part of me wants to go crazy and eat a cow or 2 but i know that it is no good and that i must maintain the mentality that i am still kinda fasting.

It is best to consult your doctor about this. I have done 3 days twice and the first time "ate a cow" right after which led to an upset stomach and constipation. The next time I had fruit and juices for the first day and then some bread and cereal the next. It is best to stick with easily digested foods for a few days after.

It's always best to start with small portions, get a lot of fruits veggies and steam or baked meats.

Congratulation :singing::groupwave: of completing your 3 day fast. Anyone inspired to follow please consult your doctor, if you're anemic skipping meals is not a good idea.

I'll like to reward you with some virtual cookies

I have always found seeker that soup something like chicken noodle soup helps greatly!! The body is in shock a little, and yes,I am sure you could eat a cow!! But start with soup, then some crackers if you like, and slowly work you way back to normal. I say chicken noodle soup because it has some meat in it as well, which I enjoy.

Thanks everyone for your reply's i appreciate them. I will definitely start with some fruit and then some soup (mmmmm i'm just imagining that soup right now ) Thanks aqua about telling me about what happened to you, i definitely don't wanna have an upset stomach and be constipated. Thanks Rizen1 for the virtual cookies, they were delicious

Thanks again guys and God Bless and may the peace of Christ be with you all
