Breaking: Pastor Saeed Freed!

American Pastor Saeed Abedini has just been released!

We can confirm that after more than three long years in an Iranian prison, Pastor Saeed – a U.S. citizen – was freed earlier this morning. In addition, several other imprisoned Americans were also reportedly released.

We’re delighted this day has finally arrived. We’re grateful for the millions of people who have stood with us in our ongoing efforts – both in this country and abroad – to secure his release.

We have worked and prayed that this day would finally arrive. And now, Pastor Saeed can return home.

Pastor Saeed’s wife Naghmeh said, “This has been an answer to prayer. This is a critical time for me and my family. We look forward to Saeed's return and want to thank the millions of people who have stood with us in prayer during this most difficult time.”

I noticed this as well, and was glad to hear it, then I realized that nothing is said about "who" the US had as prisoners that these people were swapped for. Then I remembered Obama wants to close down Guantanamo prison and who the US had swapped for Sgt Bergdahl. I wonder if we will ever know.

I am sure that after he is allowed to re-program back into his family and church will the whole truth come out. I have very strong opinions about all of this and that is what they are, just opinions.... No matter what you think, we should all agree that to God goes all the glory and thank him that these people, for what ever reason, are out of that God-forsaken country!
