Brokers and Theologians

A minister friend, at a bible / book study asked me once, what do you hate. I said, "brokers and preachers" . He looked at me and asked, why preachers. I said, "you can never get any two of them to agree on anything" .
Maybe i should have said Theologians.

Does it ever amaze anyone there are so many churches out there. Each one will tell you " they are the true church ".

It isnt so much that they are all wrong, The truth of the matter, every ones core are the same, even those dreaded catholics. The Core beliefs are exactly as everyone else. Jesus is God , Jesus was born of a virgin , Jesus preached the Word, Jesus is the Word , Jesus died for all peoples sins , Jesus rose from the dead , Jesus accended into Heaven . And the Apostles were Baptized in the Holy Spirit .

That is the Core

After that , is where interpretation comes in. And everyone wants to fight. Seems like it is our nature to fight. Against men and against God.

Self claimed theologians are worse than " prophets" it is becaue everyone thinks they know what they are saying. If that was true though , you would not see so many versions of the Bible.

Like, i dont know about you, but those " theologians " the Methodists and Jehovah's Witnesses use are really messed up. And if they are messed up, the others will be having issues too.

My last encounter here, by one who claims to be a " theologian " is a great example. We were talking of the Consuming Fire of God. But all he could find as a responce to me were all the negative views of fire or the " lusts of Satan " ( the fire that fills Satan's heart ) you must remember, Satan is all about anything the opposite of God . So if there is the Fire of Lust in Satan, then there will be the all consuming Fire of God's Love too.

I was taught long ago, when we have a problem, whether something of Scripture, or something in life, to set the problem in the middle, then try to look at it from all perspectives. Front, back, left side ,right side, up and down.

One sided thinking will always get us in trouble.

So Core beliefs all intact, let us find forgiveness to all who dont think like us. Even the dreaded catholics. And we can forgive the Mormons, J.W.'s and Methodists. We may not agree, but we must be able to forgive in love, or we are no better than the fallen.

What is a theologian? Someone who studies theology. What is theology? The study of God. (Theos)
Theology in itself isn't a bad thing. We are told to study the Bible a few places. But of course bad theology is.. well... bad.
So you mentioned a few denominations above... but how do we know if something is good theology or bad theology? By studying the word ourselves of course.

John 5:38; "You do not have His word abiding in you, for you do not believe Him whom He sent.
John 5:39; "You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me;

You are correct saying that we need to study the Bible ourselves but there is also a little problem that takes place when we listen to Bad teaching and you don't know they're bad.

What happens afterwards too is when you have a collective of people either members of a church or a group who do Bible studies together if a common thinking takes place and everyone agrees to it it becomes the authority by would you base your thinking on.

As the example of the Methodist Church that don't challenge the neutering of God or as another example of Jehovah Witnesses that don't challenge whether Jesus Is God or not and that's straight out of scripture in the first chapter of John

And have a temple say in Jerusalem where someone can sit on a throne and represent the one true religion. Actually God loves all his children and even though they bicker back and forth as to who it is that God loves the most or who it is that understands. Better than the next it still does not stop God from loving all.

I think anyone with good wisdom would look at all of the different churches and all of the different thinking that is out there as a bonus. Because with different viewpoints comes more of a grasp of the fullness of God.

The problem with the One World Church is the same what happens when you have a singular viewpoint and it's wrong.

You should know that the true church is not something made of brick and stone but something of love.

If in the church that you belong to has love love for God love for your neighbor as yourself love for your enemy then stay there because that's all you really need

Now days you cannot throw the word out there "Theologians" now days you have all kinds of "theologians". you have brain theologians, hand theologians, foot theologians, finger theologians, toe theologians, arm theologians, eye theologians.

When you mention the word theologians you must specify what kind. it might mean christianity, religion, universalism, today the word meaning has change big time. The world Theologian does not mean or Theology does not mean what the word says anymore. And the more people continue spreading meaning of words like someone is throwing rice out side the door of a church. a million different meanings as they see fit, with their own "Private interpretation of words" and this is how we have arrived to the field of "ETYMOLOGY". that no one gives a heck about especially christians. Known fact.

Theology had nothing to do with studying of religion, or christianity, or any kind of how people felt about GOD. or there relationship to GOD.

"Burger King" style. If you do not like that one. We can go to the BOOK of Judges, where: "each man done what was wise in his own eyes"
We have our kind of god we want, he does what we want, he acts like how we want him to act. and we tell him what to do and how to do it.

And if he doesn't act right we will curse him out, Kill him too known fact. and if he sends a messenger before him, we will cut his messenger head off and place on a Platter . we will. but it is by the grace of GOD the few will not.

So let down your hair and show us what you got! For we are not the judges, we judge you not.

Many who are in the christianity community have no idea what the word Anti- christ mean. And it is written in plain common english. And many have made so much money to pay off "mortgages" and their kids "college Tuition" and giving god the praise why speaking in Tongues and jumping up and down. just of One common word: "anti". and the other God or Jesus. Making Merchandise of the name of JESUS .

I heard T. D. Jakes say years ago on nation TV. "I am a salesman, and my "Merchandise" is Jesus and "I sale JESUS"! and everybody it seems start chapping their hands and shouting. and Praising GOD. I could not believe it, what i heard and what i saw.

And now this type of Christianity is the face of Christianity of The World. And the Poster Child is "The U.S.A". We have maybe a thousand books on the word "Anti". wow. No wonder GOD shut down all these Bible book stores.

Identifying anti Trinitarians as heretics goes back to the First Council of Nicaea in 325. God saw fit to include His own definition of the term antichrist in Scripture , fools disregard it.
