Brushfires in Australia - Many dead

Brothers and Sisters,

Out of control bushfires in South East Australia, in the state of Victoria, have claimed the lives of over 170 people, and fears that the death toll will rise over 200 are very real.

Many towns and homes have been lost in this horrific fire which follows extremely hot weather and firefighters are battling day and night to attempt to control the fire.

People are trapped in areas of country Victoria, and are threatened by the fires.

Please pray for families who have lost loved ones and for families who have lost everything to these wild fires.

Please also pray that the fires will be brought under control and that no more lives will be lost as a result of the fires.


Pray also for livestock and wildlife also being victims of these raging fires.

Pray for the many people injured, please, young and old.

Pray for rain and weather change to stop the fires spreading any more, please.
