So, is everyone happy about this?

I am not, my memory is still clear about how wronged poor Diana was. How that beautiful girl suffered.

Diana wasn't the only Royal who did a lot of good. Marrying into Royal doesn't bestow royalty and titles are given and taken away. Consort simply means "wife of the King" or "Husband of the Queen" and neither has the right or power to rule should something happen.
From what is known Camilla has proven herself similar to Diana and as Charles wife. They've known each other since the 70's. What matters is if Charles really screws up.
The Royal family are largely figureheads and part of the culture. The House of Commons and House of Lords have most of the power.
