I know someone who is a non-Christian who is interested in bible history, the different types of literature in the bible and also the history of the development of the church. We've had several talks about Christianity and this seems to be his main area of interest. Can anyone recommend any books that might be good for him to read that are written by a Christian author?
I tried looking on Amazon but couldn't really tell what to get as many of them seemed written by academics/theologians rather than spirit-filled Christians.
