For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. (Matthew 6:14-15).

A long time ago, I said I didn't forgive somebody. Now, and for a long time since then I have forgiven them. Can I still be forgiven, even if I haven't spoken with that person to tell them I forgive them? And what about this scripture? : "Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them;and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained." (John 20:23)

Matthew 6 does not teach that our eternal destiny is based on our forgiving other people; however, it does teach that our relationship with God will be damaged if we refuse to pardon those who have offended us. The Bible is clear that God pardons sin by His grace based on Christ’s work on the cross alone, not on man’s actions. Our right standing before Him is established on one thing only—the finished work of Christ John 3:16; 1 John 2:2; 1 John 4:10. The penalty for the sin that is rightly ours is paid by Christ, and we obtain it by grace through faith, not by any righteous deeds of our own Ephesians 2:8-9. No one will be able to stand before God demanding that his sins be forgotten simply because he has forgiven others. Only when we are born again and given a new life through God’s Spirit by faith in Jesus Christ are our sins forgiven. Therefore, Jesus is not referring to God’s initial act of forgiveness (reconciliation) that we experienced when we first believed the Gospel.
I know it is confusing but forgiveness of others is the best medicine for healing and peace of yourself and is a requirement for such. It is more to do with daily cleansing and goes along with a repentant heart and lifestyle. I know, this is a fact: the more you forgive others (doesn't mean you agree with them) the better you feel about yourself and your connection to God!

Hello Pajaro
What is important is that you confessed this sin to the Father in Jesus name. His blood covered this sin and is remembered no more.
Now unless God directs you to find this person I would not wortry about it buty you could ask of Him if you should. Other thern that there is nothing to be concerned with and hery one day you might run into this person and have the chance to ask them.
Blessings

My short reply is; YES! You can be forgiven. As long as you have forgiven them in your heart, it is finished!
